Thank you. I am actually surprised myself. Never thought I would need that few tools. And as you say, the range of uses in tools originally made for something else.
Impressive! it's like primitive survival videos, but only parts of working with iron! I wonder, if you could made iron cooking pot with tools like this...
Thanks. Iron cooking pots would be no problem, perhaps I will some day. The problem would have been if I produced the metal from ore myself which I normally do not. Home made metal can be a bit tricky to get thin enough without cracks. But if I had a metal sheet, even a rusty one, a pot would be nice to make, it would be useful to make resin glue in. Thanks for the tip.
Ah, yes, that would make sense, if I had a larger sledge and needed a two hands grip. Until then I guess the peen of the hammer would be enough to fuller with. Perhaps burning a hole would be easier than forging a drill that large. But soon I am making a larger hammer, one that could potetially be used as a sledge... I will just need a heavier anvil stone.
Nice work....I know you're trying to be all Primitive and Bush-crafty But you should really should wear eye protection....One slip/ mis-strike or spalling / shattering rock and you will be known as 'Gustav one eye'
Wonderful use of your previously made tools as bolsters. You've certainly proven that a lack of developed tools is no excuse for the smith!

Awesome work. I can only imagine with videos like this the channel is going to take off soon.
Thank you, I appreciate it. Yes, that would be fun.

if you drill a hole into a branch and mount it level to the rock you can clamp fullers with a wedge.

@@gustavthane2233 you could make a square hole with chisels then burn it to shape. or just use the square hole as-is.
@@verdigrissirgidrev4152 Yes, good idea, thank you.
