The writing has been consistent for seven years. They never made enough money to outsource the writing to ghostwriters, most of their earnings are from live shows, and their tickets prices are still too cheap to make big money. Sure, they are selling merchandise and albums now, but that was limited until now. Totally independent, no industry plants!
It's obvious that Pete and Bas are writing the majority of their lyrics. It feels authentic, they're not rapping "out of their age". The things they say fit them, it wouldn't work if they weren't directly involved in creating this music. That's just a fact

Nine and dex are the ones who write and record all of the bars for Pete and bas, the 2 old guys are just some amateur actors that they picked up a few years ago for a comedy skit and then they started writing and recording their voices over videos of them lip syncing to it, it’s pretty obvious when you listen to any of nine and dexs tunes
I don’t want to believe this but looking at their ‘live’ performances their skill level is just way off (and what little of their voices you can hear on top of the backing track sound way different…especially Bas), could still be them with a lot of studio trickery though. I’ll believe it if they do a fire in the booth style video though because live is definitely tough for most rappers.
