YOU SHOULD KNOW THERE ISN'T GONNA BE THAT MANY KIDS IN YOUR AGE GROUP WHO WOULD EVEN ADMIT THAT THIS IS SOME DOPE ASS, PURE AND UNCUT RAW ASS, "HARDCORE HIP HOP"..NOT "GANGSTA RAP", TRAP OR EVEN OLD SCHOOL BELIEVE IT OR NOT. AND THE FACT THAT YOU ARE OPEN MINDED ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO ENJOY THIS SHIT HERE SHOWS THAT YOU EITHER HAVE A COOL ASS DAD FROM BACK IN THE DAY OR YOU JUST DON'T FOLLOW WHAT THESE KIDS ARE BEING ,"BRAINWASHED" INTO LISTENING TO AND NOT GETTING TO EXPERIENCE THE TRUE ART FORM FROM WHEN IT WAS JUST A PARTY THING, THEN A CLUB THING, THEN A "BATTLE" THING..AND THAT'S WHERE IT STARTED TO REALLY GET GOOD.. EMCEE BATTLES, DJ BATTLES, BREAKDANCE BATTLES, GRAFFITI BATTLES,,BEAT BATTLES.. OH, AND IT WAS FOR FUN BY THE WAY... TH-cam GOT SOME GREAT DOCUMENTARIES ON THE ORIGINS OF "HIP HOP"..IF YOU ARE REALLY INTERESTED AND WANT TO BE BLOWN AWAY??..GO CHECK THEM OUT HOMEY.. YOU WILL BE HAPPY AS A MOTHER FUCKER YOU DID..ITS CALLED "DOING YOUR (HIP HOP) HOMEWORK". FIRST LESSON? KNOW THE ELEMENTS OF "HIP HOP"...HIP HOP IS NOT A MUSIC..ITS A CULTURE..IT CONSISTS OF THESE FIRST AND ONLY ELEMENTS..1.RAPPING..2. D.J ING..( CUTTING) SCRATCHING ETC. 3 B- BOYING..OR BREAKDANCING.." A B BOY IS SHORT FOR A " BREAK BOY, OR GIRL. 4.GRAFFITTI...IS 100% AN ORIGINAL ELEMENT AND 5th and FINALLY.. BEATBOXING... THEY SAY THEIR ARE MORE NOW.. BUT THOSE ARE JUST NEW ADD ON BULLSHIT ONES. 5..KRS ONE MEANS.. KNOWLEDGE REIGNS SUPREME OVER NEARLY ONE.. PEACE

@@chrisdwyer1791 @Chris Dwyer Aprecciate the dedication and passion put into your text, especially about real hip hop, which has a really important place in my heart, I love this shit.
I've already done my hip hop homework but i might check one more time. Hip-Hop started with DJ Kool Herc back then when he did house parties. Afrika Bambaata, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, Run-DMC, The Sugarhill Gang, Doug E.Fresh and The Get Fresh Crew, the Human Beatboxer, Slick Rick the Ruler, Biz Markie (RIP), Salt-N-Pepa, Sha-Rock, LL Cool J, The Sequence and I could go on and on but you get the point, all of them were important for Hip-Hop history.
I get fascinated by the Graffiti. Those black lines, fulfilled with color that make at the end a form of expression inside the subways, on the walls, etc. Thinking of Graffitis make me think of those 90's New York vibes, full of it, where you could hear the city scream "Hip-Hop" out loud.
I'm from Portugal and my parents are from Sao-Tome, an african country, so they don't really know none of this. I had to discover the Real HH by myself and until this day I still digging in the internet some good ass songs, from the 80's to this day, of course only the good stuff.
KRS-One is without of doubt one of the greats, since his days with BDP. He's a professor with top tier lyrics, message and a peace keeper who represents very well all the elements of this art. Peace to you brother.

KRIS 'ALWAYS' dealt wit' the fakes, that's and arsehloes in his own spectacular way.
This LP was up there with criminal minded, by all means & Edutainment grossly underated.
