Fairy tail has a weaker plot because it does everything else way better, Fairy tail has big interconnected lore that you wont fully understand until the last season like any other anime But It does an amazing job in investing you in what youre watching right now, It doesnt worry about being an anime that you'll look back on, It focuses on making you live in the moment, You'll never realise how good fairy tail is unless you go back and watch it because looking back on it doesnt hit the same.
