Given the dynamic nature of this and Galar's theme, I was wondering how they would make it a single unified theme but I'd say they really nailed it! This sounds amazing and once again DENA shows they can cook in the sound room!
Somehow this theme is already nostalgic. I love Scarlet and Violet, I can't wait for more important characters like Arven and the Professors to show up
This could be a polarizing theme seeing you would either prefer the starting theme or the "Terastal theme" and they chose the last part more (I frankly think the main part was too low intensity for me) and frankly the transition is fine...I think did well to mix the two together like the Unova and Marnie themes while adding the trumpet even in the chant to make it unified IMO. I do agree this was hard to mix as how different the starting and last theme are, even more than say the Unova Gym Leader themes, as the instrumentation felt different, and I felt kinda too similar to cheers of Galar's Gym Leader theme at the end.
I really like the tune I just think the cheers could have been better as an instrument. Im not a fan of either cheers but they make more sense in galar
I actually think Paldea's melody was built on top of Galar's. I like both either way, but I do think Galar's cheers at least have a better context. But Paldea's definitely is more fun and overall better.
Alright, how did they manage to make this theme even better than the original? I actually have liked the original version but I'll start binge listening to this version from now on.
@@zjzr08A lot of the older themes had random intervals between parts of the song that they just added for no reason that kinda changes it. The worst example of this is the Gen 5 gym leader theme, they massacred it. Luckily Roxie’s decisive battle theme fixed it.
I have the feeling that Masters Ex will incorporate a similar game mechanic as Terrastral with all the mysterious stones popping and thus the reason why we aren't getting the Mc yet.
Although it's cool their adding new characters from the current games what previous games gym leaders? We're still missing Wattson, Byron, Juan, chili, cress, and a few more I say stop adding different outfits for characters that are already represented enough and add older characters to the game
This doesn't really go as hard as I was hoping. I think the terestal part is overhyped. The first 15 seconds are really good, and I wish they would have taken that and expanded upon it, which is what the main game should have done, rather than focusing so heavily on the final part of the theme. The song could have really used it, considering the gym leader theme from Scarlet/Violet was so weird and weak overall, with too noticeable looping, too boring of a song for the first two Pokemon... ect ect. No big deal since this is just some side game for the mobile, but it it still a shame we didn't get a proper official remaster of the gym theme to right the wrongs of the S/V composition itself.
Dandan:Off all the paldea gym leaders, theh just had to bring the streamer girl that got removed from "Haltmann" for those exact reasons Sawgill:Also, the new chants sound like they're being force and torture into singing like the galar ones
They haven't been making original remixes since like Johto Trainer Theme I think as many complained the previous themes were too different from the original composition (even though I'm fine with them) - I will say they did a great job mixing the two seeing how long the theme was especially if you much prefer the Terastal Pokemon part.
The gym leader remix kinda falls flat and can’t pick itself back up enough to make up for it. Feels like it’s rushing. Don’t get me wrong, I like that they put the emphasis on the Terastal Phase (that part on its own is fantastic), but they just dive right into Phase 3 and then move on before it has any time to do anything, not even give a proper build up to the Terastal Phase. It’s got the Giovanni final battle problem where they won’t let a good part play for more than 10 seconds.
The music builds as you knock out pokemon on the leader's team. I think phase three is the last one before the gym leader's last Pokemon theme plays @@maganhassan2627

I played the dlc the whole weekend and Monday I invited Grusha and Iono to the Blueberry academy and next day they are leaked on Pokemas wth 😭😭😭 I’m so happy Grusha is my fav paldean gym leader I can’t wait literally omg I need him sm 😭🫶🙏
