My Husband and I Met on tinder right before the start of COVID-19. We started talking in November 2019 Started Dating December 2019 got engaged May 2021 and got married October 2021, we now have a beautiful baby girl and I could not ask for anything more.

Abby I am the exact same as you when it comes to feeling the pain or feelings that others are going through and being able to put myself in the exact same spot emotionally as someone else. It’s so cool and so hard at times. Takes lots of balance and really knowing my own emotions so I don’t get stuck feeling others emotions and think they are mine

The running joke growing up was when Dad "Made his delicious BBQ chicken." Mom bought the chicken, made the homemade BBQ sauce, wrapped the chicken in foil and added the sauce. Dad puts it on the grill, and it becomes "delicious BBQ chicken!" Dad claimed the skill of knowing when to turn it and take it out of the foil is the art. 😅
I’m the same as Abby and my husband is the same as Matt. I’ve told my husband if he remarried I would haunt him 😂 not actually but I would never remarry and it makes me sad that some guys don’t feel as deep about it as me and Abby. It’s just so sad to think about. 😭

I find it interesting that Alex said it was a red flag that Jon was intentional pretty quickly, and then she realised she was interested in him only after he started dating other people. That is not healthy in the slightest.
My mom recently got remarried. She was married to my dad for 36 years, and he died 12 years ago. She told me that being with her new husband makes her miss my dad more because he doesn't have as good of a sense of humor and they don't have the same emotional intimacy. I don't think I would want to get remarried.

as a fellow empath, i understand where it could be difficult separating your emotions from someone else because of how deeply we feel things. one thing that i’ve learned is that, although we shouldn’t push these emotions away completely, we should try to set them aside to deal with later while we give the other person our strength and compassion during their time of pain. it’s easier said than done, but i thought i’d share - being that i’m an empath, too. 🥰

I’m going on 7 years and I’ve had the time of my life! 3. When you are in love with your person, the physical imperfections really don’t matter. You guys love your partners as a whole. Everything about them is attractive and that’s what makes love beautiful. Hanging out with your best friend every day is way better than worrying about cellulite and stretch marks. Love you guys and so glad you’re doing podcasts. I get to see so much more of your personality as a whole rather than the edited version. Thanks for being vulnerable and sharing yourselves with the world.
