- You probably spent a bunch of money on that old iPod dock or Bose dock. Since the old iPod connector is now history, here's an inexpensive way to turn that useless brick into a new-fangled WIRELESS BLUETOOTH receiver!

It may be inexpensive but I bought one of these and the sound quality over the link just isn’t Bose. It made it sound like a $60 dock. To get Bose audio quality you need to get an integrated upgrade like the BC6

My Nyrius works well while syncing with Pandora (via Bluetooth on my Bose receiver), but when I try to play anything off TH-cam it is a complete fail! Very bad static noise. Probably "user error," but I'm looking for any advice out there. Pandora is great, but would like to incorporate TH-cam music/videos in as well. I've tried deleting the device from Bluetooth under Settings and rebooting...but to no avail.
Any advice would be appreciated...bought two of the Nyrius contraptions last week hoping to solve the Iphone / BOSE docking station issues via Bluetooth.

Not all the old bose docks have the same voltage and do not work. Just so you know. I'm still looking for a solution.

These adapters are garbage. I was able to find a guy in England that sells an actual replacement ribbon. It does require you to crack open the unit, but with some relative handyman skills you get a MUCH better Bluetooth module

Computer Care Clinic not true. First model doesn’t power/charge the iPod so adapter gets now power.
