Played it with three and four-player counts and lots of two-player plays. Three was much like two players, but four, you are in each other's way all the time. Really gets a bit exciting as everyone is reaching goals and pushing around each other. Clear the cards gets you moans. So I think as the player count goes up, the more competition there is. Also, the last 4-person winner had sandbagged and stayed in the bottom hexes building up workers and cards. Let the other folks explore. How to balance becomes the magic. So, yes, I liked it and have the Ironbound version. Also, if you paint the mechs silver and then brush on some shading liquid, they look good--minimal painting is good--a friend of mine did that. The heavy metal mechs are fun too.

No. Just a more crowded board, but still little in the way of direct interaction.
