I think rather than for Fan service at least with NCT Dream since i know the most about them, is that they’re very very comfortable with each other. They’ve known each other since most of them were 11-13 and no one is going to tell children to do fan-service especially with how careful their company was with them as trainees and after debut. But the members grew up having only each other as friends (as when they debuted in 2016, they were the youngest idols for like 3 years) and family.
The older members 127 also treated them very gently, giving them cheek kisses, hugging them all the time, making them sit on their laps, etc. So NCT Dream are all naturally very touchy and affectionate with each other like all the time. Not just physically but even emotionally and the way they talk about each other, they have very intense feelings about each other. They have also written a lot of their songs about each other. If you could be in love platonically, they definitely adore each other to that extent.
Like Haechan and Jaemin have been kissing their members since they were 13. While the other dreamies aren’t as kissy, they’ve always kind of been on top of each other. People call them “vegetable tempura group” because whenever 1 of them moves all 7 of them move with them as if they’re all stuck together with tempura batter 😭
I think you’ll love all the subunits. WayV especially in my opinion for their music, performances, and sus actions… especially Ten. You’ll love Ten

Basically the units collab once a year(not every year but mostly). Always different combinations of members. I am so excited how they will invlude the Wishies.

If you pay attention to them, you'll see that not everyone, but Haechan, Jaemin, and Jungwoo 😂 are the most affectionate members in NCT. Other members just go along with it because they're used to them now. 😂 Honestly, they just try to annoy the other members by doing skinship, especially Haechan. He's very affectionate though, but he mostly teases them. Haechan is also one of the Maknaes, so he's like an annoying younger brother.

I actuallywouldn't say it's part of the job to act fruity, that's just how guys are. Even in my school and guys I have hung around with do some sus things, I guess that's just what happens when you're close and comfortable with showing affection. Nct sure has their moments but, they aren't forced to at the way they do. Haechan likes kissing his members because that's how he shows affection and Johnny and Jaemin likes teasing the members by being flirty.

Some fans might defend by saying NCT is so close, but to be honest, NCT as a whole are not that close. From what I've seen over the past 10 years, Taeyong, Haechan, and TEN are the members who might be comfortable and close with all the members, but as a united group, they're not. Taeyong, Ten, Doyoung, Johnny, Mark, and Jaehyun are the closest. They've been together for so long, of course, they're a huge group, but all they do is work. That's why they're in subunits, and in their respective subunits, they're close with each other. it's not easy to get along with everyone no matter how good they are. WayV is the closest, like a family without any doubt which is very visible; Dream is like a bunch of annoying friends, so they're close to each other too. NCT 127 is more like friends & bros; some fans might get offended by what I've said, but if you're not crazily obsessed with what you believe, you'll see if you genuinely love them. By the way, I'm not saying that it's all just for show; actually they're very affectionate, which is also a part of Asian culture, but it's more like how their relationships actually are. Even one of the WayV members, Ten, who's actually very close with almost everyone in NCT, said that his relationship with everyone in NCT is different. He said WayV is his family, like his brothers, and other NCT members are like his best friends. SuperM members are more like seniors (or big brothers) and colleagues (he's in SuperM too). So everyone is like this; they definitely have close members as well as some who are like their juniors and younger members they take care of. Then their comes Chinese members they're also very close. Or who knows they might be developing new friendship which we haven't seen yet. 😂❤
As far as i know, Haechan started training bf doyoung & ten. Mark, ten, dy, Jae & hc were all close & trained tgt. Haechan isn't close w/ ty at first bc he's someone he look up to but he trained w/ him. He even trained w/ hansol that's why they were originally w/ seventh sense unit. and the reason why he's not close w/ johnny is bc he was afraid of johnny. Ten is the only one who i can say is very close to everyone even bf their debut, be it the dreamies, illichil, or wayv. Bc he's among the trainees who trained & debut the longest. And when NCT 2020 happened, the members whom connected the other shy members were ten, mark & haechan. Bc these 3 are social butterflies.
It's part of their Job by now and I feel KPop and BLGL actors and actresses have been aware of that in the recent past. While, I keep them invited in the 20th-21st century to also be part of the 🌈 somehow, bc possibillties exist after all..most people shouldn't be surprised if sooner than later someone introduces their Fans to their straight girlfriend-boyfriend-fiancé and I also find it as sad as homophobia existing that some people then are "disappointed" by it. Like what? What does anyone have against people who can LOVE? Beyond me no matter the constellation, they're doing the courtship dances with in the end. And also honestly, actually as long as they don't tell us not our business to begin with.
