Thank you for this video, this fixed mine this time! For those who followed the instructions in this video but the problem persists: check whether the big rolling brush has too much resistence if you turn it manually. If you remove the brush, you should be able to rotate the part that rotates the brush pretty easy. If it does not turn easy, you have to do some additional steps after you opened up the device as intructed in this video: Remove the circuit board, remove the side (bumper) sensors, remove the holder for the dust container and open up the mechanism that rotates the roller brush. It contains a motor and a little driving belt to rotate the brush. Probably there is dust / hair inside it, blocking the driving belt. Cleaning this fixed mine in the past, this time removing and cleaning the silicone caps fixed the issue, thanks to this video. Ilife v7 running almost daily for 2 years now.

Hi Ivo, I have a problem with the main brush, this part got stock it. I woul like to clean it but I don't know if I will able to do that 😅, do you have some photos or video to do that you Said. I will appreciate it

@@GilVazquez Hi Gil I also was a little out of my comfort zone doing this procedure, but if it is broken anyway, then why not have a go at it instead of just throwing it away. Just take your time and make some photos in between, and remember what goes where. If you were able to get the device opened up as shown in this video. your are more than halfway there. Good luck!

Hi, finally I SUCEED REPAIRING the bug:)))
The solution is a comprehensive cleaning of the interior. No shortcuts.
You have to remove the battery and dust container, remove small front wheel, unscrew the bottom and front bumper, clean the dust, check the sillicon pads on the front bumper switches (if they don't block the moving arms - you can even enlarge the holes).
You can check all infrared LED sensors (turn on the cleaner and check it by phone camera in dark) - they are located on sides
circumferentially, on the bottom and inside the front bumper switches.
Most of people do only what i wrote above. I have done it too (few times), but it seemed to work only for a few minutes.
I think this issue could be caused by some resistancy changes on the major power consumptions. So I strongly suggest to:
    - disconnect the main board and clean it from both sides
    - disconnect, unscrew and open the main brush engine with
dismantling the transmission belt mechanism - can be dirty with hair
    - disconnect the assembly, unscrew and clean from dirt 2 main wheels - here there is no need to open the mechanism with gears, because it is tight enough
Finally I asseblied the cleaner without the sillicon pads and the small black plastic cover on the rear bumper.
I-life V7S-Pro has been working perfectly for last 10 hours of cleaning.
I hope it will help you as well.

Hi Michal K! I would like to say thanks for your explanation. First I did the procedure of the video but it didn't work. So I did your procedure and worked. The problem was on the main brush engine!

In my case the cleaning the dust and the optical parts didn't help. Even not cleaning the parts in the removable front part (behind the black plastic are ~20 IR receivers). It's something mechanical what makes the V7s jumping back. After a hit from the front it's working then till next harder bump.

First, Thanks so much for making this video! Exactly the problem I'm having with mine. I followed your tutorial step by step and cleaned everything the same way you did yours. Unfortunately I was not so lucky with my model - Mine is still doing the exact same thing - multiple rounds going backwards and then just stops.
I know this is a long shot but any additional ideas that come your mind that could cause this - On mine I even removed the battery to ensure no shorts.
I'm open to any suggestion! Thanks again for the video!
