You are good man at the review. I can't believe that I also gave up on buying Michelin Pilot Sport 5, at the expense of Brigestone Potenza Sport! They are extraordinary and have a better look.

This is the only way to know for sure which tyres are "the best/better" - same car, single driver. It takes up a lot of time, of course. I had read tyre reviews at various sites and would often wonder "Are some of these people even referring to the same tyre?". Because, even with similar cars, the review could range from "Excellent" to "Horrible".

the S001 that you compared was a Run Flat - MOE (Mercedes Benz Extended) and are generally more expensive than standard tyres. Thanks for the great review, looking forward to a mileage update later

Thank you for the interesting detailed review! 23,000km sounds about what you'd expect on the rear axle of a large, powerful RWD car. It's interesting to hear about your driving style in the kind of car that would usually be associated with somewhat more sedate cornering - it sounds like your driving style is more M3 than 750i!😄 Normally I'd think the Pilot Sport 4 or 5 with their oodles of straight-line traction yet soft, floaty ride would be most suitable for a car like this but it sounds like you enjoy the stiffer sidewalls and fun handling of the Potenza.

235/40 R18 95y Volvo S60 Did 3000 miles in highway in holiday's in June. 2000 miles in normal road's. Wonderful grip in wet and dry. Improved my braking. The only negative issue is the noise in highway. But I am happy with these tyres. I have these tyres since February.

@@nunodiascruz75 Very kind of you to respond so quickly 🙂
I've seen incredible reviews re this tyre, but avoided re reports of track day driving excessive wear!!
However, I'm only using on the roads, albeit driven very enthusiastically every day!😉

Just order 4 of them thank you answer all the questions I had, great review was mainly considering wear on the tyre. I always gon with the goodyear eagle F1's best tyre for the price however I've been offered the potenze for R650 less per tyre

I had 3 blowouts on my Conti contact 5 in the last 6 months due to potholes. I am now going to replace the fronts with Nexen tyres on my BMW e65. Do you or anyone have any info on how these tyres are. Thanks

Most important thing I wanted to see was treadware rating. But your thumb blocked it showing the date in tire.

Not sure how helpful a tire review is when you are driving on a mixed set. You only had the ones you are reviewing on the rear of the car? Why wouldn't you put them on all four wheels?

Ps4s and continental 7 are king
I have the sports because was cheaper
    I had ps4s before
The ps4s are better plus last longer.
I would not buy the potenzas sport again

Hey. Do you mean ps4's or ps4s's previously??
      On what car please?
I was contemplating the Bridgestone potenza sport but the 18's tyrereviews video re uhp summer 225/40/18 put me off re horrendous wear on track!!!
I'm only driving on public roads but want incredible grip wet and dry, reasonably firm sidewalls and great steering feel.
Currently running Goodyear Eagle f1 asymmetric 5's and pretty happy.
Would be likely getting the new A6's but looking at other alternatives b4 deciding.
The new continental sport contact 7 sounds great, but it's 19's +.
The new CPC7 is imminent and might be very good?
      Thanks.

      @@James-RJM I drive a tune bmw 340.
Only time I had eagle F1 was back in 1999 lol
      I love them back then
Contis 7 I heard grip is amazing but if u want feel contis are not the best for it, softer sidewalls.
I mean ps4s imo better for daily with very high levels of grip.
If your happy with what u have why don't just keep it.
We all like to try different stuff I understand.

@@flaviomartinho1753 Many thanks for your reply.
I had pirelli pz4's on my previous i30N performance pack, and changed to michelin ps4s's for better wet grip.
However, I found the sidewalls on the michelin quite soft!
Due to boring fwd wheelspin and bunny hopping, I decided on the toyota GR Yaris, but the road biased standard set up, plus the Convenience/luxury pack. It's my uk daily!
I have sufficient comparison to know that my choice was correct for my usage, vs the firmer track suspension on the circuit pack.
That comes with ps4s's and they do marry well.
But knowing mine was a more road biased set up and with a little more lean, I had toyota put the Goodyear Eagle f1 asymmetric 5's on b4 collection. They have firmer sidewalls. This was July 21! I'm aware of the new A6's.
Supersports are 20% track biased and weaker in the wet.
It came with dunlop sp sport maxx 050's, lol.....
Arguably intentionally, to affect driving dynamics re marketing and profit, standard vs Circuit lol...

@@flaviomartinho1753 I'd happily try the Bridgestone instead of the asymmetric 6's, IF they're not completely shite regarding ROAD wear!
