Tantoblade1pd Im not a ford fan either, I'm a car fan. Always found the whole holden/gm v ford thing weirdly arbitrary. If you have a passion for all things motorised it would seem that becoming a " fan" of one particular maker and as such ( usually) writing off the other , you're missing out on half the good stuff.
Enjoyed it thanks. The older XR8's are not worth a lot now days so what an affordable starting point & still a nice car if in good condition to invest in. I wonder what was spent all up on this one?
great build with alot of power.. i want similar. i heard you mention stroker. What stroker kit did you use... is it possible to get similar power from a top mount blower n cooler?... cheers

Hi Mark, been watching a lot of your posts really good stuff. I just recently purchased a Boss 260, 107,00 k"s, It has big mouth cold air intake, I believe it has hurricane headers and twin exhausts. I need and answer to question please, when I slip this across into tip-tronic mode (sports shift, pull for up gear, push forward down gears, got it) is there a high rev point in first gear when it will change to 2nd automatically or do I have to do it. seen a video were a guy put it sports mode, nailed it, went through the gears and he never took his hands off the wheel ???
William Crisp just flicking over into sports mode will automatically changes gears up and down and you can also use the tiptronic part of sports mode. They sort of have 3 different driving modes
No joke. Ok. Mark - question for you seeing as you're the general enquiry line - when I drive, I hear a weird noise from the rear right wheel, or in the vicinity. If I get out and kick that rear tyre, will it still have tread? Or is just flapping around willy nilly with no common sense attached?
