Hello! When purchasing half chaps, you need to use your exact measurements as they will not drop like tall boots. You can shop our selection of half chaps here: www.ridingwarehouse.com/catpage-HALFCHAPS.html. Please let us know if you have any questions or comments! ~Katie, RW
i bought Shires Moretta Albina tall field boots a few months ago. I ride once a week, so ive had about 12-15 rides in them, is it normal for them to be wrinkled at the ankle and a bit tall and stiff still?? when will they become soft and drop??
Hello LadyAntwillSSO, yes with more riding and time your tall boots should drop and soften. To help speed the process along, we suggest cleaning and conditioning your boots after every ride. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns! ~Katie, RW
@@Ridingwarehouse thank you! I clean and condition my boots every ride with some leather balsam. Is there anything else I could do to soften them quicker? Thanks
@@LadyAntwillSSO You're welcome! It takes time to break in your boots, and leather balsam should help with the process. We suggest keeping on with your cleaning program, and maybe even wearing your boots around the barn as you do chores for maximum wear time! ~Katie, RW
Hi I’m trying to find riding boots but I have bigger feet I also cannot find a sizing chart could I please have some help with that 😅😅😅 no English boots have ever fit me in any size wide or length 😭
Hello @EquineEmpire! We are sorry to hear you've been having trouble finding a pair of tall boots! We have size charts on all our product pages, located in the sizing section at the bottom of the page. We suggest looking at Cavallo Tall Boots (www.ridingwarehouse.com/catpage-CAVALLOBOOT.html) or EGO7 Tall Boots (www.ridingwarehouse.com/catpage-EGO7BOOTS.html) since they offer a large size run in calf width and height and foot length. Please let us know if you have any further questions or comments. ~Katie, RW
@@Ridingwarehousethank you for taking time to respond! I really appreciate it! A lot of the boots I saw on the link are out of our price range 😅😅 I think the most we’re able to pay is less than $190 😅 I’ll look it over with my parents and we’ll decide! We’ve searched hundreds of different websites and orders thousands of boots and they’re always too tight or small we’ve tried short and tall boots and it’s getting hard I haven’t ridden since may because of this problem 🥲 I might have to switch to western since western is a bit better but we’ve search hundreds of western websites and tried on English and western and somehow I still don’t fit 😅 I don’t think my feet are That big it’s the way they make the boot thanks again for the help!!!
@@Ridingwarehouse eventually decided to just squeeze into tiny boots I have trouble with infections in my toes and the boot was so small it increased the pain it was the biggest boot we’d ever had so I decided to take what I had I love riding too much to let it go over boots and my big feet 😂😂 ❤ but it’s gotten to the point where I’ve grown out of those boots
Hello@@EquineEmpireOfficial! We would love to help you find the right pair of riding boots. In footwear, what size do you typically wear? Either riding boots or casual shoes. Please respond when you have a moment. Thank you! ~Katie, RW
@@Ridingwarehousewe just measure the way you explained in the video and the length from my heel to the knee crease is 17” and the measurement for around the calf is 16” and the heel to the longest toe is 10” for casual shoes mabye like 11 or 12 in size depending on the brand and how they make it 😊
I want to buy a calf chaps, does it has to be exact to my calf size or it’s better to get a bit bigger measurement?
