It’s absolutely complete and utter shit that you can’t target a heli at all basically. Your missiles are hardly out maneuvered by jets, and you can tank more damage by relevant weapon systems than almost any other vehicle comparatively. I die to helicopters more often than to other jets. And it’s only ever 2 nations who kill me. China cuz their missiles are stupidly OP and undodgeable, and Russian helis. I’m forced to go guns because IR and radar does nothing against them. If they’re halfway competent they stay low so I can’t see them against back drop of trees and foliage, etc. so it’s not until I’m right on them, then if I come around and try, I’m forced to come in for a gun run, and locking someone and firing the chain gun which does all the work for you is way more effective than me lining up my gun sights. To to mention they could even just use a vikhers to shoot me with that lock and then not even have to do anything and switch to guns with that same target lock once I get close enough if vikhers doesn’t land a hit. If there anything that makes me contemplate quitting, it’s just how unbalanced they’ve made top tier Russian helis and how relatively gimped they’ve made everyone else.. except for Chinas Ty-90’s.

@@lw.c802it’s the 3rd best MBT behind Sweden and Germany. At 6.5 seconds if memory serves correctly it’s hardly slower than others while frontally being immune in most places. Era blocks shot absorb even clear cut side shots. When you pair 3rd best MBT with best CAS, best helos, and easily the best AA. And probably the best missile in the game for top tier. You have essentially an unrivaled top team overall.

I prefer the Ka52. It can carry more loadout and haves better survivabiliry, Mi28 is more agile and the possibility to use 360° radar. I love play Ka52 because a lot of times missiles broke the tail of the heli but i can anyway repear the heli
The KA52 you can carry more things and it is more resistant and you also have more ammunition for the cannon the only downside is the positioning of the cannon
ka52 has more loadout, you don't need to sacrifice a pylon for a stack of iglas, instead you have 2 pylons for iglas and 2 for vikhrs. Also your aiming is almost unlimited (both horizontally and vertically). Also way faster, with better cockpit.

But the Canon is in my eyes already nullified by the fact that the Ka-52 has AA missiles which gives it better anti air capabilites (and the Mi Canon is mainly used against jets). There’s a button in controls to lock onto vehicles and planes, it can lock onto dead vehicles if the enemy is close to them so pay attention to your lock

The kamov helicopters all share a broken damage model that makes them virtually invincible
