This airplane passed above of my house, they all do, was always wondering what it would be like looking down from one of those planes, now I know, thanks, the roads are horrible and filled with potholes in Montreal, it's a discrace, the mub who construct the roads uses cheap quality asphalt, add the whether, cold and hot, plus the salt spreaded in the streets in the winter, plus the shortage of money deployed to repair, it's a nightmare for tourists and the locals.
@@213-z7u Possible. Still several minutes before landing. Up until 50 years ago, I used to live in that area and would use dad's binoculars to watch airliners lower their landing gear.
Absolutely true. Traffic and roads nightmare . Impossible to get to airport in afternoon. Lousy weather. Retail ghost town on st Catherine. This was a great city now way too expensive to live in( most expensive cost of living as per latest stats). No thanks!
Excellent resolution! Great views of Montreal!
My home town! Love you, Montreal!

good
Seen parts of that approach but none of my arrivals have had that detail....
Vancouver is huge
Hein ?!
T'en fumes du bon toé chose 🤣
24L landing. Rare for a US originating flight.
For a CRJ-900, it makes sense though, a shortest runway but ok for a regional jet
@@badouplus1304 Maybe. But 24R is a much shorter taxi to the US gates.
@@alradioguy2269 I see, I didn't know that fact about taxis
6:26 landing gear down

Montréal, Québec tout court ça va faire.
Like a Boeing landing in Seattle or an Airbus (not A220) landing in Toulouse.
Nice video. You filmed with what device?
Thanks for watching. I had used iPhone 13 Pro Max. Nothing fancy.
No announcement in french.
I don't think Delta will see your comment. Quite the oversight, though.
Stop with that, it's an American airlines, they are not forced to find employees speaking french... even though it would be nice
@@badouplus1304United used to make some announcements in French for flights originating from or destined to Ottawa.
@@Ahuntsicspotter It's hard to get service in French on an Air Canada flight out of Québec City. Don't keep your hopes up.
Sorry to remind you that the a/c should officially be called a Mitsubishi regional jet! Bombardier sold out!
Usually the landing announcement goes something like: if you're visiting Montreal, Welcome! If you're returning to Montreal...sorry.

Montreal was the very first city..... it's massive, Drive through with a big-rig😅 it's not fun
