Dude can do it all and is dynamite in the redzone. We didn't reach and got a certified stud, every mock draft had him going in the top 10. This kid is rated the best TE in college history. Check PFF and other sites, this kid is a can't miss best TE. He will be for the Raiders what Kelsey is for the Chiefs. This OC runs a lot of 2 TE sets. This is a deep draft and we have plenty of time to land a right tackle, corner and a RB. LOVE the pick, and the Raider war room looked happy with it also.

I was disappointed a bit too - I get the nightmare mismatch with Bowers but we still need to cover the basics with a solid RT and a solid CB. I would have been very OK with Fuaga, but I really wanted Arnold, the draft has a lot of solid tackles, not all as good as Fuaga, but there is depth in the OLine. not so much with CB, that was our chance to get a 5 year starter opposite Jack Jones and Nate Hobbs. We might get lucky and get a decent second tier guy in round 2 but the CB cupboards will get bare pretty quick. We need someone either better than or who will cowpete with Fayson. I really wantd to save that 2nd round pick to get a Linebacker, an-udder need, and an-udder position without a lot of depth, but where there are 3-4 really good out there. AND we still need a solid DT to rotate in with the rest of the line, and a guard, AND a back up RB and QB. TE, even one as good as Bowers, feels like a luxury...

This OC runs a lot of 2 TE sets. This is a deep draft and we have plenty of time to land a right tackle, corner and a RB. LOVE the pick, and the Raider war room looked happy with it also.

The Raiders last year even with decent protection had a scoring issue Brock adds a level of complexity for defenses to deal with. I love the pick still lots of draft to go.

I think this was a good pick only because It’s good to add weapons on offense but I can agree a tackle would’ve been better but I just see this as a good benefit for our team to excel in the offense
I think it was smart we took the best player available and for once we didn't reach at all added a guy who will be a dominant playmaker for years to come I love it I know it's not a need but still an A+ pick
He’s like a Darren Waller kind of player but bigger and stronger. This pick was really good. I see what they doing trust the process.

At first I was scratching my head with this pick. But the more I think about it, I really like it. There will be "good enough" RT's and CB's in later rounds, I hope.

I’m curious why you think Fuaga will have a better career? I also wanted to draft a T, and Fuaga specifically was high on my list, but almost every platform has Bowers as the better prospect.
Aside from being a better positional fit, what do you like more about Fuaga (I realize they play diff positions so you can keep it high level)?
More I thought about it was the right choice to stack weapons to help our current QBs. Assuming we pick an OT in the 2nd round🤞🏾🔥
I was disappointed a bit too - I get the nightmare mismatch with Bowers but we still need to cover the basics with a solid RT and a solid CB. I would have been very OK with Fuaga, but I really wanted Arnold, the draft has a lot of solid tackles, not all as good as Fuaga, but there is depth in the OLine. not so much with CB, that was our chance to get a 5 year starter opposite Jack Jones and Nate Hobbs. We might get lucky and get a decent second tier guy in round 2 but the CB cupboards will get bare pretty quick. We need someone either better than or who will cowpete with Fayson. I really wantd to save that 2nd round pick to get a Linebacker, an-udder need, and an-udder position without a lot of depth, but where there are 3-4 really good out there. AND we still need a solid DT to rotate in with the rest of the line, and a guard, AND a back up RB and QB. TE, even one as good as Bowers, feels like a luxury...
The Raiders got one of the best offensive players available at 13, now they need to fill Oline holes. I give the BB pick a solid B, it's not so much of a need but BB has the skills to be one of the best TE.
I saw this pickup the same way I saw the Christian Wilkins pickup... it's gonna be hard to scheme for every player
