Just pulled my '78 T-60 out for the first time in a decade a month ago. It was my first guitar back in the mid 90s. I gotta fix my phase switch too. Thanks for the history lesson, and the teardown.
I own all Peavey sound gear and amps. I've giged with it since 1978. I did have a T-60 throughout the 1980s. It got stolen and no longer could find another one. I'm still looking to get another one. I've been playing an old Telacaster since my Peavey come up missing.
I absolutely love vintage Peavey products. People have finally caught on to the versatility of the T-60 and all the T models and the prices got driven way up. The doom metal scene is ditching the necks for aluminum ones. That phase switch can get thick if dialed in right. Shame what the company has become, though. Keep on Peaving 🤘
