As a train nerd traveling to Japan I completely agree. Especially coming from North America

I liked the train ride from Narita, we landed at night so I got to see the whole city lit up. But it is like an additional 45 minutes or so.

That is fair! For me, I just wanna get back home haha and Narita is too deep. But that Keisei Liner is quite nice.

Spent a month in Japan for my first time this year (Jan-Feb) and it was awesome! Going next month for 2 weeks and can't wait

Great video, maydaysan. Looking forward to your next upload! I smashed that thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! Your insights on the nuances of traveling in Japan are incredibly helpful. How do you foresee the adoption of cashless payments evolving in smaller towns compared to major tourist areas?

If you want a cheap place to stay if you land in Haneda that's close to it is either Katama or Kawasaki. Shibuya is only 30minutes away by train and the prices are definitely worth it if you just landed in or are about to depart from Haneda.

Kawasaki s indeed a shout! I think with most peoples schedules and crammed itineraries, they would probably wanna be closer to Tokyo

Im going over Christmas, so thanks for the tips. I knew the whole "no eating while walking" thing wasn't really true.

I’m sure you’ll get death stares like 5% of the time but it’s nothing to worry about. Just worry about if you’re being a nuisance doing so

This was helpful info. I lived in Japan in 2016 and I'm going back with friends next April. Didn't know cash is no longer king! I paid everything in cash there. I remember staying in an APA hotel once in Fukushima and the bed took up 95% of the floor space.

You forgot the most important tip: if you're traveling to Japan you have to like, comment and subscribe.
