- This is the third of a row of Tribute Videos caused by the death of Eddie Van Halen. I - just like any other guitarist - always loved Spanish Fly, which was Eddies guitar solo on the album Van Halen 2 and later appeared in every live solo he did.
The harmonics, the speed picking and beautiful harmonic progression at the end make it a very hard but very special and fun piece to play.

Super! What a masterpiece. It's just crazy that Eddie had so many songs that any one could be considered impressive. This is one of the greats he will be remembered by.
Its much better than Eruption, which already showed his greatness.

Eruption will always be king. Iconic. Sounds wonderful. However, Spanish Fly is soooooooooo much more difficult and impressive…and this was amazing. Indistinguishable from Eddie.

Wow, someone actually doing a cover of it on an acoustic guitar, love to see it. Most of the other covers are with electric.
I think I have the technical abilities to play it and impress friends who wouldn't noticed I butchered it.
