I saw The Inner Light immediately after this episode, and jokes outside, it's genuinely one of the most beautiful pieces of television I have genuinely seen.
It's great, as is all of TNG. The first season kind of sucks a bit compared to the others imho, it has old school Star Trek vibes (but it still has loads of great episodes), by season two they find their groove and it gets freaking awesome. Don't listen to the "that's nerd shit" haters, it's great television and has loyal fans all over the world for a reason.
I love it when Bobby and Santino act like toxic parents with Fancy and Carlos being the kids being used to win arguments and manipulate past situations hahahaha

I watched Cheeseburger directly after the ad, so am finally going to watch the episode 149 now, but just wanted to say, Andrew, the special was great. A lot of interesting ideas, funny, positive, forward thinking, silly, it had a little bit of something for everyone. The premise of a cheeseburger was nice, simple, humble, while focusing on what the audience brings to the table as well. Very good.

When Bobby is describing Star Trek TNG + DS9 as his child or as his religion I could completely relate as a child of childhood trauma/abuse. I use to watch these shows religiously during my jr high school years, the 90’s. The show gives a sense of what peace might look like. A sci-fi fantasy. Bobby is a peace seeker. Aww.
