Love the last picture with the pirate captain that looks terribly confused and think "what's happened ? it's just a cargo ship with no military weapons"
being one of those I can safely say that you should be. I have made swords, knives, projectile weapons and more tools, all from scrap metal. things like a knife from a oildrum top by case hardening a piece then turning it to shear steel by forge welding it back on itself few times, then laminating with another piece of doubled regular top steel each side, turned out OK, this entire project required just basic tools, I just bought the hammer, file and tinsnips, the reast was made by me or found in nature (except for the ~10kg block of steel) things like, sand, clay, charcoal, potash, stones...
This reminds me of a series of sci fi books. In which humanity all turned into zombies and some of them have been "cured" but retain all the upsides like not feeling pain and being super tough and strong. Anyway they're taking the role of maintenance and cleaning staff on starships and they keep using cleaning supplies... creatively.
We have history of Q-Ships in history. But her using tools as rail gun ammo? Nope. No mechanic would use tools in that way. Bolts yes, parts that are bullet like yes.
Everyone in the Galaxy knows humans' fangs are absurd and their claws a total joke. Their natural weapons are confined to something they call their wits 😂 !
Don't forget fertilizer. Ammonium nitrate is just fertilizer and diesel, known as fuel oil, form something that is called ANFO. ANFO is one of the cheapest explosives out there. The city of Beirut was leveled when several hundred tons of the stuff had diesel spilled on it as it was improperly stored on the docks warehouses.
A man in a microwave antenna communications array left his lunchbox in front of the parabollic dish when he turned it back on, and it cooked and exploded his eggs. Microwave ovens are weaponized communications gear.
if you declare hostility towards humans and find yourself thanking them for a compliment, you have already lost the battle that you are too ignorant to avoid
You could make magnetic boots into mass drivers (like a rail gun or a coil gun). Point and activate. Imagines a magnetic boot going 3000m/s. (Nearly Mach 9... Hypersonics FTW)
Damn. And here I wondered if the chemistry lessons would be worth it. Color me impressed. Then again, most cargo crew just have entirely too much time on their hands. Military vessels would simply fire a missile. I also gotta ask how much the repair bill was to their own vessel.
I was expecting it to end with a treaty that the pirates agree to avoid attacking human vessels in exchange for human creative engineering on board the pirates ship. A reasonable agreement among interspecies gentlemen, wouldn't you think so?
LoL 😆😆😆 there's some truth to this story I am well known for buying brand new items taking them home taking it apart to make it work better lol I have a custom-built ride To be an RV / pickup truck / van Custom built toy hauler trailer That hauls my motorcycle my jet ski my barbecue pit and all the accessories So I can have enough room in the back of my vehicle to haul the four wheeler lol I remodeled my Airstream travel trailer far beyond anything travel trailer 😂 60 gallon bathtub Custom design bed self-heating self-cooling Remote LED lights inside & outside I don't know why people don't build things the way I need them lol
Why aren't weapons listed on the ship manifest? Iirc, manifests are for cargo and passengers, is, the things being shipped. Manifests are not for crew, personal equipment, or fixed equipment.
Good, original story, I could have worded it better, a bit less direct, some more inuendo and a bit more vicious glee from the humans could turn it into a masterpiece.
Long ago larry Niven created a number of races to explore a ringworld in deep space.. To investigate this vast object and who built it... a crew was assembled and equiped with a ship that though it officially had no weapons its indestructable hull was kitted with equipment so powerful that could be used as weapons. Louis Wu the Captain taking one look at the systems promptly christened it the Lying Bast#rd...😂 ... On with your story but it could also be called a trojan horse.
If starfleet got their hands on the crew of the cargo ship in the vid then the borg, na we got nanotechnology reserves or the dominion, na we have shape sifting tech and anti-everything phasers
"The kind of smile that should come with a warning label." Love that line!
Ship Manifest Classification "Warning - May Contain Humans!" is the best thing that Humans could ask for.
Damned straight! We humans are living weapons when the occasion calls for it.
Love the last picture with the pirate captain that looks terribly confused and think "what's happened ? it's just a cargo ship with no military weapons"
Weapons of opportunity. Drill sergeant Saunders would approve. Never trust anything that a bored human that knows how to use tools has been around.

Oh you can trust it, just as long as your trusting it to do something it shouldn't
I've actually lost a few jobs for getting... creative with the equipment.
Yeah, I work in a kitchen. I'm surrounded by potential!!
Was thinking half way through that raid the pirates would come to dread the phrase Myers modified my X device
It's like Home alone in space. LoL
Tought the Same
Human ingenuity coupled with pure bloody mindedness is unbeatable
Love these humorous tales from HFY. Brightens my day and makes me laugh. Many thanks and please, please, keep them coming.

I have a friend for whom "maintenance adventures" is a job description.
We have history of Q-Ships in history. But her using tools as rail gun ammo? Nope. No mechanic would use tools in that way. Bolts yes, parts that are bullet like yes.
Circular saw blades yes.
Of course, NOT! Mechanics would just throw the tools!
So, I shouldn't use my pneumatic stapler with the safeties bypassed and the pressure switch jammed closed?
very good, made me smile every few seconds and laugh often
The A I voice was OK and the artwork good.
definitely an upvote.
This author is why i still listen. Beats AI everytime.
Everyone in the Galaxy knows humans' fangs are absurd and their claws a total joke. Their natural weapons are confined to something they call their wits 😂 !
Great story, almost spit my coffee out on keyboard. Thanks for sharing this video story.
What a cool story. MacGyver in space. I'm gonna listen to it again.
I was thinking the A Team. "Hey, lets lock these guys up in a fully equipped workshop. That will hold them."
@@mannydavis7708 What could go wrong?
I loved Howling Mad Murdock. He was good in StarTrek Voyager & played an excellent nutter in a B5 episode too.
@@aussie6910 I thought Barclay was pretty rare in Voyager. Mostly known on TNG.
@@robertstoneking7916 He was in 6 episodes of Voyager & 5 of Next Gen. apparently.

ANFO is one of the cheapest explosives out there. The city of Beirut was leveled when several hundred tons of the stuff had diesel spilled on it as it was improperly stored on the docks warehouses.
This was awesome! Does Maya remind anyone one else of John "Hannibal" Smith from the A-team? lol
Only 2 types of cleaning supplies are needed to make a REALLY nasty party favor for those you don't like. Just don't breath the stuff yourself.
Yep...Found that out the hard way back in 1989...
Maybe so, but no one has listed the effects of adding coffee to the mixture.
Clearly what ever 2 part combo is of the mild nature relatively speaking.
@@Kittsuera
Mild only so long as you dont breathe it.
A man in a microwave antenna communications array left his lunchbox in front of the parabollic dish when he turned it back on, and it cooked and exploded his eggs.
Microwave ovens are weaponized communications gear.
Actually, since EVERYTHING can be a weapon, all weapons are listed
20:22 I almost wish she would answer him "challenge accepted" XD
I enjoyed the story
if you declare hostility towards humans and find yourself thanking them for a compliment, you have already lost the battle that you are too ignorant to avoid
Just how did the Pirate Captain check his damage reports when he was pinned to the deck in 5G? Small glitch but other wise entertaining.
He WAS wearing Armor, I suppose at least some of his Heads-up Displays were still working lol
Very creative and refreshingly comical well done
I'm officially in love with Maya ❤
This needs to be made as an Anime. 😂

Total BOSS! Thanks!
What harm can a tool kit do. One myst remember that in Doctor Who the sonic screwdriver was originally just antool from his Tardis tool box.
Absolutely hilarious, luv it 🤣🤣🤣👍
Outstanding !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
That was fun!
Indeed it was.
I am an engineer in real life. Don’t mess with us.
Humans are extremely skilled at weaponization.
"interpretive physics"
This is hilarious. I enjoyed it very much. More like this please.
so gentle and then they used coffee
The funniest AI video ever! Laughed almost constantly. Well done! 🥂🍸🫵👍👏
Damn. And here I wondered if the chemistry lessons would be worth it. Color me impressed. Then again, most cargo crew just have entirely too much time on their hands. Military vessels would simply fire a missile. I also gotta ask how much the repair bill was to their own vessel.
I was wondering when they were going to start taking weapons off the pirates. They could be sold to pay for the repairs.
@darrekworkman5595 I would assume they made the pirates pay.
I'm a bit disappointed that Lee didn't try to find the Saurnian equivalent of the brown noise. Now that would have been funny.😂😂😂
Loved this.. sort of like
terry ratchet in space..
I was expecting it to end with a treaty that the pirates agree to avoid attacking human vessels in exchange for human creative engineering on board the pirates ship.

Surrender!
Can't; I am too busy ATTEMPTING SCIENCE!!!
This AI voice is very asterisk mellow asterisk.
12:00 "that I may have electified slightly" so... I don't think those pirates are leaving their ship
AWESOME the funniest one i have watch so far, bloody awesome
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is my favorite story today! And the end made me chuckle!! Those pirates sure were tricked by the humans all right. 😂
this one was really fun.
Anything moving can kill. Common SF theme.
LoL 😆😆😆 there's some truth to this story
I am well known for buying brand new items taking them home taking it apart to make it work better lol
I have a custom-built ride
To be an RV / pickup truck / van
Custom built toy hauler trailer
That hauls my motorcycle my jet ski my barbecue pit and all the accessories
So I can have enough room in the back of my vehicle to haul the four wheeler lol
I remodeled my Airstream travel trailer far beyond anything travel trailer 😂
60 gallon bathtub
Custom design bed self-heating self-cooling
Remote LED lights inside & outside
I don't know why people don't build things the way I need them lol
I assume this is AI images... otherwise someone has a lot of explaining to do regarding the corridor full of bouncing baby dinosaurs.
Drawn and read by AI, yeah.

fun
Asterisk Huh asterisk? 😂 The rest of the text-to-voice was pretty good, very good even.
Too bad the subtitles were just as badly misspelled as the transcript.
@tamarlindsay8382 text-to-voice for the narration, then using that narration via voice-to-text for the subtitles+transcript is destined for disaster 😂
Asterisk, Asterisk, Asterisk

On with your story but it could also be called a trojan horse.
Funny plot, but the captions are sub-standard.
1:35 that neck looks slightly broken...
Pov the home alone kid had a kid that had the home alone skills and also a-team skills
Aggro Squirrell Narrates also reads HFY he isn't AI voice
If starfleet got their hands on the crew of the cargo ship in the vid then the borg, na we got nanotechnology reserves or the dominion, na we have shape sifting tech and anti-everything phasers
Funny story, but a little bit repetetive in the end.
Grunts and crafts buy an engineer
TFE?
Maybe proofread the stories first?
The AI is getting better. Unless it's not AI in which case it's content theft.
