This song is for my stepfather, Eric Steele. He treated my Mom like a queen, became the father my sister and I never had, and we were destined to have a happy life together. Unfortunately, the cancer in his body derailed those plans and claimed his life. He passed away on March 29 at around 10:45 pm. He will forever be missed.

It was so heartbreaking to see her break down and not remembering anything in her last years. I miss her so much and she was my hero. I lost my best friend a month and a half ago to the same thing. We grew up together. He was 23. It just feels wrong that hes gone. Take care of yourself, do things that feel normal. I have had good and very bad days. Grief is weird, whatever you feel is ok and valid.

actually he didn't go from Pink Guy to Joji that fast, all the FilthyFrank thing was his way of building his fanbase and transforming into a full time singer. Not to mention that Pink Guy character was an amazing singer/rapper himself. I grew up watching him and is still proud to be his fan until this day also
I'm a happily married man, beautiful wife, a son and another one on the way... but the way Joji just evokes these raw emotions out of me from his music is unbelievable. The way he paints this vivid image in my head through his music and just takes me down this hole of despair and brokenness... what a true artist! I've been following him since his Filthy Frank days early 2013 so in a lot of ways he was a big part of my teenage years, so to watch him grow and evolve as a person and an artist is awe inspiring. I'm so proud of you Joji!

I have cried a lot over this song since it was released because of my two friends who left me in a lot of pain and problems, and it helped me cry and let out what was inside me, but then I blocked it from every application, but now I heard it by chance and did not feel anything. It is just a song, I have no feelings. At that time, I never thought I would get out of that situation, but here I am now. I don't remember my two friends anymore. I haven't forgiven them either.
