I'm only about 5 minutes into the video as I'm typing this and you have no idea how helpful this is! I'm preparing to move to Daegu in mid-November 2024 to teach ESL and so many videos I find about living in South Korea are either in Seoul or Busan. Hardly ever in Daegu, especially as a Black person living in Daegu.
This at least gives me a good idea of what my apartment might look like and I appreciated the short bit in Daiso to see what they have there and how much certain things cost.

Is there a city you would recommend for someones first year in Korea? I know everyone says Seoul, but i know that there are sooo many beautiful cities aside from it.

I would highly recommend Cheonan,Daegu and pyeongtaek. If you like the busy side you can try Busan and other cities closer to Seoul
