You're right, knifing the iron mask guys is probably the way to go. I will try for Village 3M but it's just so annoying that it requires insane RNG to even have a chance.
I have attempted high score runs and I know parrying their attacks builds your mayhem meter fast but the Ganados for me do NOT swing at me, they will either sit there and stare at me or they'll grab me.
