@@what_are_jokes0404 It is legit true. It was explained in the anime that if all your cores or whatever are destroyed, you die for real. He of course returns cuz plot and cuz he is the MC of the story.

After all he is someone who can bend reality, rewrite history and destroy fate he also far transcends time so i cant imagine it being hard for him to revive himself inf times
It isn’t exactly plot armor, more of Anos’ own genius, he used origin magic Agunemut to turn Evansmana’s attack into the origin of his source, and used Rivide to send his newly formed source into the future and resurrected

Fantasy anime be like:
Yes yes, he's overpowered with two devoted supporting lead characters and a bunch of other characters that fear and respect him and a bunch of other people that can't stand him and a teacher that's stubborn. Yada yada demon king, overpowered birth, time control. Love triangle, predictable ending that doesn't exactly wrap up anything, the tiniest amount of character development coz the main character was powerful to begin with.
Tragic backstory, some sort of sacrifice that could have been solved another way, countless overly pompous chads.
