Lake Garda, Italy | 4K Driving Tour | Part 1

The following video showcases the beautiful drive along the northeastern coastline of the largest lake in Italy. It covers a surface long enough to be perceived as a small sea, given than you may not see the opposite shore of the lake depending on the positioning or the weather conditions.
The unique shape and size of the valley in which the lake rests create a warm and mild microclimate that comfortably accomodates mediterranean fruits such as citrus trees, olive trees or date palms, right in the middle of the Alps, far north of their usual range.
The lake is completely surrounded by the Gardesana, a well mantained road that connects all the towns on the coast and which passes through impressive tunnels carved right into the mountain rock.
The terrain around the the lake offers a wide variety of attractions for sports-loving tourists, from steady winds for sailing and windsurfing to mountains for climbing, rappelling, and mountain biking, all with lake views.
