Late to the party but that multi-meter is a children magnet - one notch above the standard 1KHz diode mode

    thanks for the review

Realize this is an old video, but RMS is not the right measure to use. Any dc offset on the channel adds in. There should be a std deviation primary measure. Not std deviation of RMS… That would be appropriate.

This is a bad joke... He put the scope in HiRes mode (see icon on the top right). The noise is averaged. The actual noise is 3-4 times higher

      Dear hadar hadar
Thank you for your polite comment/observation, it is appreciated. I will in the next month produce another video showing noise measurements using a variety of Acquisition modes. I normally use the scope in High Res. acq. mode, however it is a valid comment and I will run the test again. I do actually show other Aqu. modes if you look at the 5 minute time marker. I also intend to run the test with a 50 ohm terminate connected to see the effect. I would however comment, that as the noise levels on this scope are fairly low and not bandwidth limited as on some other scopes, it doesn’t really effect the majority of measurement undertaken with the scope at substantially high voltage levels.
      Kind regards
      Michael
