this was a great performance. their lion was very expressive.
Wow. I don't know anything about anything, but I loved this performance way better than the winning team's. I couldn't really tell you why other than that I *feel* this lion a lot more. I understand its emotions and its trepidations. I almost forgot I was watching two people at times. I just stumbled upon these two performances because I was looking for more traditional stuff.
Khuanloke may be slower than yiwei’s speed but their storyline is too good to be beaten, 23 difficulties and no deduction. They deserved to be the champion this year.

Great performance. Deserves a win in any competition. But I think this time, they lost it at the cables at 2:10 if you compare to Yiwei. But they surely had more artistic expression. They will be unbeatable in the traditional segment.
I think Khuan Loke's performance is better than the champion for the lion's expression alone. The lion is /thinking/ about its moves before it performs them and exhibits a complex and intelligent personality. That's what really brings the lion to life.
In competitions today teams are all about going as fast as possible, which often means sacrificing the depth of the lion's expression. It's important to slow down the pace and build that expression.

裁判真是瞎了眼 我沒關注舞獅團隊 也不知道哪國的 但第二名真的比第一名還實至名歸 過鋼絲的口發抖 舞累還睡著了 一個個的小細節 一個個的高難度動作 第二名的醒獅不只栩栩如生 更像是活的 而不是人舞的

Even if the winning team has a higher precision this time, this team is definitely a lot more enjoyable to watch. You can't boil down a performance art to pure technicalities after all, don't want to end up like the Olympics figure skating scene I'd say.

马来西亚的狮子好灵活啊，柔软细腻，好像真的一样，有灵魂啊。我真的不晓得为什么会败给新加坡。难道说道具方面新加坡的很抢分？新加坡的狮子肯定僵硬过马来西亚的狮子…
总分10分:形神表现占3分/高难度动作也占3分/狮乐配合占2分/步伐占1分/道具和主题这些也只占1分。即使你的神态舞得再好 再栩栩如生,最高也只能拿3分。从10分里头扣分:每失误一次扣0.1分, 你注意看在10:31那里有个饰物(小竹子)掉下来, 那个饰物掉落也是要被扣0.1分的, 还有很多地方跟细节也是会扣分的说不完, (比如说你的队伍敲罗打鼓时 不小心把乐器掉在地上也是会扣分)。 然后每个裁判都有10分来扣你的分数,如果在场有9个裁判,也是依据每位裁判给的分数,将所有分数加值起来的平均数,获得最后的总分数。
坦白说新加坡这次狮王脚步舞得很稳很多。
