This reminds me of when I was a teenager. My friends and I would repair what was broken or not working, and carry on. There was never enough money for a high-class restoration.
A wonderful sympathetic restoration it takes great skill not to disturb the patina and rust, rather have that fine machine than a trailer queen. Well done chaps and please tell us more about that machines weird engineering. Good luck with the brakes if you can find them .
I love this truck...... Was interested in fitting the electric water pump I have a prewar austin 10 which uses thermal syphon system to cool the engine..... I was wondering if I could fit a pump so I can add a heater..... As it's cold driving it in the winter months 😂😂
excellent: is that a straight six?. using jerry cans could just look like you're hauling extra fuel , at least the rotten as a pear fuel tank is less of a bummer.
@@kingearl2596 I remembered Sunbeam Talbot but I admit I did look up Darracq. The film Genevieve had a early Darracq, Wilfred Hyde White stopped them to reminisce about him courting his wife in a Darracq. So nice to see a genuine resurrection and the boys enjoying themselves they are keeping the machine alive and sometime in its life it will have another resurrection.
Gorgeous looking motor. And on the road, as it should be.
Lovely indeed. Really like the sound of the exhaust.
What a wonderful machine.

Really nice car. It is really good to keep rolling a such car.
I saw that talbot for sale on FB not long ago
It looks great on the road. Well done.
Lovely old truck, sounds great with the new exhaust
I only have one thing to say , 👍love it.
Brilliant job !
Brilliant
What capacity is that engine? 👌
Love the Talbot, my only quick thought was it'd probably be a pain to parralell park it
I used to work with a man from Stornoway who did contact parking all the time. Even when he was sober.
Well done.
What a lovely car !. Looks as proper good jobs you are doing, but do take care when welding the fuel tank !
Many cars would get by with a thermo-siphon and nothing else. At least the Darracq has a fan to assist with cooling.
straight pipe

In Australia a number-plate in that condition would cost the driver plenty of money.

Talbot was a Brand, Darracq was another brand - now what's this car?
Sorry to complicate matters but in 1929 it was Sunbeam - Talbot - Darracq ! .......
@@WOFFY-qc9te Oh, I did not know this. Thank you for the Information!
