I laughed so hard on this episode! My wife and I used to play this game when our kids were little, (your age now), and I kept yelling at the screen..."Go up on the caves! There is a hidden area! Use the rhino to find the secret entrance!" Super fun.

Honestly, when porting or remaking the game, Nintendo really should've made a proper multiplayer. This episode was great by the way.

METAL BARRELS!! lol! You bounce them at the wall and jump on for a ride. The barrel destroys enemies on the way too.
The tnt barrels can be used to blast a hole in certain walls for a secret area! DK pats the ground because in some areas (usually with a bit of shading or a bump) there are extra bananas. Also pat the top of trees because loads have extra bananas! You have missed so much!!!

I have to admit, at first i was kinda annoyed by the lack of knowledge about the game of you two.
But 5 minutes in i really enjoy it, cause you remind me of the time i had to learn what this game is about, how it plays and works.

Great video Stampy. I absolutely loved this game as a kid, such a tricky game though. One of the best soundtracks on the SNES too imo. I did a full playthrough of this game a while ago and there was definitely some rage lol

Donkey Kong Country on the gameboy color makes me rage this much too. THOSE STUPID BARRELS ALWAYS GET ME! I've just given up on that game, but I totally feel Stampy and Sqaishey's frustration. Also the reason why these games are hard is because they used to be arcade games that were transferred to consoles and in order to get you to spend more money at arcades, they would make the games difficult so you would have to keep putting more credits in to play.
