    We Suffered from infertility for 8 years...... we finally adopted an 11 day old baby boy from Catholic Family and Child Service, in 1982. We now have been blessed with an Amazing Son, and his girlfriend, and their three Wonderful Grandchildren!

      I didn't have infertility but didn't have our first child til we were married 6 and a half years, then a miscarriage 2 years later then 10 years with no pregnancy, then another miscarriage, then 2 years later our last baby was born. So it was almost 20 years to have our two amazing miracle babies💕

    Britt& Jared,
    So sorry for everything you’re going through.
    My husband and I adopted.
    My doctor found a large tumor that was wrapped around both of my ovaries. They had to give me a whole hysterectomy. I haven’t had any children yet and was hoping they could save 1 ovary.
    My doctor even had the lab. to double check for cancer.
    We did adopt a beautiful baby girl. She was born 2 months early. We got her at 1 month old. She was so tiny. Even had two buy preemie size diapers.
    Now she is a beautiful 27 year old woman. Going for her Masters degree and working hard
    I wish you lots of Prayers, Luck, Strength and Happiness going forward.

    The two of you have some kind of inner strength that I don’t think you realize. What could be crushing to some you are turning around into an opportunity to help others. I have no doubt that will eventually come back to you in such a positive way that you won’t be able to comprehend it.

    I am so sorry. God has a plan and everything will work out. I will be praying for you.
    I suffered from Endometriosis for over 20 years. I had several surgeries and it would come back. I was tired of suffering and frustrated from the pain. I finally had a Total Hysterectomy. When I was younger I wanted kids when the time came. No kids for me but I spoil everybody else’s💜

    First: glad to see Britt got her nails taken care of. Second: you two are an inspiration to so many out there seeking and wanting to expand their families. Hopefully you will touch them as well as giving yourself comfort and assurance that life goes on as God has you in the palm of his hand and you are steps away from your blessings. 😊

    You two, oh my goodness! You are so precious, sweet, compassionate and generous to offer the gift of sharing your infertility journey! Thank you! I have shared with you before: I am now a healthy, very active 74 yr. old who experienced two failed IVFs and 9 IUIs. We adopted two infants, 4 3/4 yrs. apart. Waaaay back then, in the 1980s, who knows how little was known or explored regarding male infertility issues or female issues that may have been at issue for us! Here’s to you and the healing you’ve gained through loving each other, hope and faith that you will have a family. XO

    I dealt with infertility for 2 1/2 yrs then finally got pregnant! Was thrilled as were all our families, but unfortunately it was an ectopic pregnancy that wasn’t diagnosed and it ruptured and I was bleeding internally. My local hospital told me to go home and come home the next day but I insisted that I was really sick and told them I was going elsewhere. Luckily I did b/c by the time that hospital got me in for an u/s and called in a surgeon (less than a hour!) I had 3 litres of blood in my abdomen and I definitely would have died before the morning. During the surgery they also found that I had many large fibroids as well and since they were causing me so much pain, I had to have another surgery to remove them. We tried fertility meds but were unable to afford IVF and sadly, we were never able to have children. We have had dozens of wonderful pets to love though. They aren’t a replacement for kids but a good place to give all that love you have to give

    We had the same issue, which was even worse is at the last minuet before my surgery they called and said we were both positive carriers for cystic fibrosis.. so that changed all of all plans. We have a strong healthy son 11 years later. Our family saying has always been “It all works itself out in the end”

    And there's absolutely nothing wrong with taking the time you need to make sure you're doing what's right for you.
    I've got to ask. How are your fingers feeling a few days past Britt? I'm still grimacing 😵with what happened to your nails. I have gel nails and it beyond hurts when you jam them into something. Are your fingers still tender to the touch? 💅💅

    I felt so bad for both of you, that all times were Brittney and never Jared at 1st. I couldn't figure out why your doctors waited so long to test Jared. We went to a Fertility Specialist the fall of 1986. They did a few initial tests on my wife and then tested me( I was healthy and in my 20's). After my diagnosis, there was no need to keep seeing a fertility specialist, as our chances of a natural birth were zero. We were told our best chance for a family was to adopt. We found an an adoption agency and started the process, finally, qualifying and making it on their list in early 1989. We were able to adopt two beautiful children, 2 years apart. I have a genetic condition that causes male infertility. I won't mention what's it called, but its not azoospermia.

    • @wjutjck1
      @wjutjck1 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I had been tested in my teens, and knew what genetic condition, I had; however, my doctor never told me I was infertile. I don't know if it was because I was young and single or what. My parents were told; but encouraged by the doctor not to tell me. They never confirmed it until after I was in late 20's, married, and we had the results of my test from the Fertility specialist. I was never a wild child, so I have no idea why no one thought I should know.

    • @wjutjck1
      @wjutjck1 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My condition is rare. I come from a large family and none of my siblings have it. In fact none of my close relatives that I know of have it, either.

      @@wjutjck1as cringeworthy as this is, I want to believe that your parents thought withholding the information was in your best interest. In reality, this is information one should know before they start seriously dating!

    • @wjutjck1
      @wjutjck1 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@catherinefinken2294 All I knew was I had a 50/50 chance, but nothing solid. My wife knew about the 50/50 chance, but we wish my parents had told us, when we got married in our mid-20's that having children naturally was a "NO". We tried for 2 years to get my wife pregnant, before we went to a Fertility Specialist. If we had known up front, we could have worked on adopting or IVF initially. The Fertility specialist after testing both me and my wife, told us IVF probably wouldn't work.

  • @IrbyOCD
    @IrbyOCD 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    It’s so irritating that I watched y’all through all of this and I believe it was the second appointment when Britt would come home and beat herself up. I wrote on every video “please have Jared’s sperm checked” it does not take a specialist merely a lab. I know I went through this, it saved so much heart break and beating myself up. For two or more years I watched Britt do this to herself and it’s frustrating because so much time could have been saved. All 3 brothers could have donated, spun them together and used britts egg or adopted by now. Don’t think I’m not sympathetic, I am because I lived this but I didn’t just think it was me. Like you said 50/50 good luck

    Have you talked about the genetic condition causing this? I was curious if it is Klinefelter. It is a lot more common than people think and there are different presentations of this condition too.
