- In an exclusive interview to News Nation, actor-turned-politician and individual candidate from Bengaluru Central, Prakash Raj said, "Narendra Modi is the biggest liar and I have all the right to be angry about leaders like Amit Shah." He added, "RSS and BJP are kidnapping Vallabhbhai Patel as they do not have an icon from the struggle of independence to present." Prakash Raj went on to add, "I loved the person like Vajpayee but Modi ji and Amit Shah have destroyed everything."
