Here it is, a video project of almost 2 months.

Making this project was very fun but also very sad. When you watch the crashes on TV it looks like nothing... but even though you are redoing it in FSX, it is still so terrible to see what the people have seen troughout the window or pilots troughout the cockpit. It was a special experience that I will never forget. And I show my respect to those who died.
This is one of my biggest projects ever. Almost 1 complete month of: watching Air Crash Investigation, Repainting the aircraft, redo all the crashes like they went, working with After Effects and editing in Sony Vegas (which was a disaster).
I hope you enjoy. And please, don't get this video negative.

What would you rather like to see?
A remake or a second part made in MSFS2020?
IT WILL BE MADE WITH NEW MUSIC SADLY BECAUSE OF COPYRIGHT!
Let me know in the comments!
JRSchiphol A part 2, a lot has appended these 7 years.
Part 2!!!!! I am waiting for this for so long!
Remake
this can be epic.
Definitely a remake, these accidents have defined aviation today I I would love to see them in a modern quality.
One of the best FSX productions I've seen in a long time; original, well paced, great visuals just stunning 10/10
This video get 100/100 and 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I strongly agree.10/10
Im just imagine a remake of this video in the new FS2020 and OMG it would be (and look) great!
JRSchiphol jr please come back and use mfs2020 for the crashes pls
JRSchiphol I’ve been a fan since 2015
JRSchiphol I miss you so much 😢
if its in a public place it would be chaos
"Our passion is more dangerous then we think" I cried there.
Me too
This is the best FSX video created. I was thinking of cancelling my new movie cuz it seems so meanless to me after watching this.
LOL! Thanks man!
You, JRSchipol and Boeing09876654321 make the best FSX Movies. I hope i may soon be like you three. Hope you check out my FSX Movies. I am actually in the process of making one right now :P
I dont know what it is with JRSchiphol's videos, that every time he uploads I gotta JUST GOTTA watch it!!! I've never missed a single one!
It really is the best video ever made. It made me cry O.o
My aunt was in the building where flight LY1862 crashed in :(
I could not fathom the amount of hours, frustrations and headaches you went through to put all of this together. Although these incidents are quite tragic, your video is a masterpiece and deserves more than a million views!
couldn't be said better!
youre so danm right there!!
most certainly agreed
OwnsGermany best comment ever
True
I watched this video a LOT when I was little, and rewatching it today in 2019, I see this video differently to how I saw it at the time, and want to put up a few notes about it. First of all, this is a beautifully made video - I give props to JRS for that - but second of all, it makes you think deeply about what had happened back then. The emotional scarring that people got because of these events... It's like a blood stain on a carpet - you can do everything to clear it, but whatever you do, that stain is still there, regardless. People have PTSD because of such events, and can have in the middle of the day flashbacks of these crashes, and the people lost... Whatever way you slice it, the 1270 deaths leave massive emotional impacts on families and others alike, especially those who witnessed those deaths. I mean, do not tell me it's not mortifying to witness a 747 without two engines nosedive straight into a set of apartments that have people living in those. May all of those deaths involved rest in peace.
Yes, this is true. Like any loss or trauma, there's probably never a day when one doesn't think back to the event. It's always there on some level. And yet, it's also remarkable how many survivors have found the strength to move forward. Not everyone can do this easily. But humans are remarkably resourceful if given enough time. I remember the words of one woman, who lost someone on TWA F800. Some years later the the NY Times she wrote that she had "rediscovered happiness." if memory serves. That sticks with me as much as the sad toll such events take.
Same here bro i used to watch this all the time when i was 11 n now im 17
Same lol. This is one of the very few video’s I remember watching from that age, for some reason I was watching a bunch of plane crash documentaries back then idk why but ye this video in particular stuck with me all this time
Same i still remembered watching on my dad's brand new ipad 2 lol and idk why i accidentally remember these videos again so many old memories lolll 🥹
i have to say , i used to watch this when i was a child, look where i am now. thanks for these memories
You sir, can make FSX Films like no other. Great job
I remember back when I was around 9, and I came home one day from school and my Gran had National Geographic on, and Air Crash Investigation. That's what sparked my interest in flying, and I hope one day I can be a good enough pilot to help stop awful accidents like these happening ever again. Rest in peace.
1: You earned a new subscriber
2: You earned another like
3: You earned another view
4: You earned my respect
5: I'll tell all my friends how awesome this video is
6: I know how hard it is to make an fsx movie (I tried, I failed)
7: You are awesome
8: Very realistic
This video is EPIC! I think I went a bit over the top there but it doesn't matter. It's so realistic! I'm definitely going to watch your other movies! :D Congratulations and well done!
Lots of hugs.
Brian Ho Yup. :)
Everyone who disliked the vid has NO life.
***** Mhmm
same here!!!!
3:50 that was the worst crash ever :( I feel sorry for those innocent who died in these crashes, I really respect you for doin a video like this.
if that was the actual trailer to a movie, called distance echo, I would be looking for tickets right now
me too
me 3
same
Ye
I would watch it over and over again
Thanks for a half-million views everyone! Means the world to me!
This video is like... Perfect! Like, it make me want to cry hahaha
This is my favorite video in all youtube
JRSchiphol how are you surprised about 500k views? You should honestly be surprised that it isn't more than that! Ik that many people who've watch this video have said this so many time, but this is a work of art. First off, I gotta say, you did a great job making this video feel as much of a honor to all of those people who've died on those flights. I've seen some people do plane crashes on fsx as a "let's just recreate it" sort of thing, but this here feel like a genuine memorial to these accidents. Secondly, the music and editing is perfect for this. The way the video flashes out after every crash to the cinematic views of the cockpits as the plane is going down, and the music, which has that sorta sad memorial vibe to the subject matter. Now I can't say that this was an easy project to make, must've been hell in the software, but it sure did pay off. Lastly, i really appreciate the hard work you put in to this video to honor all of those lost souls. I can't say you're the only one who's done this, but to me, your version of it is the best. The fact that you did this just to commemorate these disasters in a really respectful way already makes this video worthy of these views! I heard that you're making part 2 of this soon and I just gotta say, as hard as you might try, I feel like this will always go down as being the best, just for basically everything! May these lost souls rest in peace.
You nl right me too
Nice ( im romanian)
Seeing that KLM 747 racing towards you from the Pan Am cockpit made my hair stand on end.
You made a beautiful and really respectful tribute to the people who lost their lives. No unnecessary drama or special effects to make it look as dramatic as possible. Just the simple and clean suggestion of what happened. Very nicely done!
they'll live in our memories, we will never forget ...
I’m not even joking this is the first time my spine shivered in my life and as soon as the music came on. R.I.P to everyone involved, hope your in a better place 🙏🏻
The best FSX-Movie I have ever seen!!!
Just awesome and thanks for uploading :)
AndroFSX - another FlightSim channel
du auch hier?
holy crap... That was possible the best fsx film I've ever seen. I've never seen one done like that before. I can remember almost all those crashes to. VERY VERY well done!
This is the most powerful thing I've seen in a while.
Unique
Holy sh*t that's just amazing... Very thoughtful and touching FSX movie. Well done.
Agreed
I found this video extremely emotive and brilliantly made. I loved the choice of music and the way you avoided showing the actual crash scenes. Very well done!
"Our passion is more dangerous than we think." Malaysia Airlines crash reminded me about that sentence... R.I.P
I've watched these videos since I was a little kid, and I gotta say, JR deserves a lot more exposure than he has. He makes quality videos that make P3D and XP11 look unrealistic. The music always goes well with the theme of the video. But this video, THIS VIDEO. It's just a beautiful video. Everything about it is amazing, JR, you're the best.
RIP KL4805 and PA1736 and all 583 people who lost their lives.
r.i.p
Rest in Peace to everyone who died at Tenerife in Clipper 1736 and K.L.M 4085

Samana H Clipper Victor
As well as those that died in the other accidents in this video. And may God be with those that survived
The start of the video, watching all those doomed planes taxi the runway and take off into their fatal destiny. To this day, it's so amazing that people actually survived these crashes
I know I'm super late but I love this video it makes me tear up when I see it knowing people died in those accidents. Great choice of music. Thank you for making this video
This video creates goosebumps, and it serves as a perfect representation of the beauty of aviation, and of how dangerous it can be. This is no-doubtedly one of the best FSX videos I've ever watched.
Tui thây hoi tuyet
This needs an Oscar.
good reminder of the many fatal accidents. thankfully it is getting safer, and we are learning from our mistakes. I also love the fact that on simulators, you can crash... and live to tell the story. LONG LIVE FSX!
Our passion may be dangerous at some very little times, but I still love flying more than anything and Im doing my best to become a pilot soon in the future.
Just an awesome video, great enhanced visual effects man! gorgeous :)
Just like me
You're a pilot now ? :)
May His angels guide your craft through these chaotic skies
Although nearly every crash sent shivers down my spine, I feel like it only inspires me more to become a pilot
Brilliantly made. The music added to the emotional feel to this, as well as the cuts just before impact. Massive like and favourite.
Fantastic Video! I'm so amazed by all the effects you had on the jets such as El AL1862(the right wing part) and others. Subscription added, keep up the good work! Looking for more of your videos! :D
Disasters and more, all the sad moments. Wait, didn't I watch this before? ....Liked.
This video is almost one year old now but i have to say: it's an amazing piece of work. The level of detail, reality and accuracy it's just blowing my mind.
I mean, the El Al Cargo 747 without the engines, the National 747 loosing attitude just after takeoff, absolutely well done.
Congratulations mate, by far one of the best FS videos i have ever seen!
Very nice video !
gorgeous! I also started crying because I saw "mayday-60 seconds form disasters" and I've seen every episode of accidents
Oh god, I cry every-time I see this. rest in peace, may they never ever be forgotten.
lol
elhassane aghazzaf I didn't really mean for my comment to be funny. If you are implying it's funny for a man to feel emotion, then that's sad.
im sorry but i just said that for fun not to you
no offense
elhassane aghazzaf People expect to put no offense at the end of every insult and expect that everything is fine.
Watched this video when I was 13 years old in middle school, being the aviation geek I was and I loved and still do love the effort and time put into this video and it really was emotional for me, here I am 5 years later and it’s still just as emotional and as well done as I remember. Much respect sir.
If anyone else tried to pull off a video about crashes other than JRSchiphol... It would look stupid.
Great video man!
Love the way you cut right before impact. not only because fsx does not have good crashes, but also in honour of those who died.
Excellent masterpiece. R.I.P to all who died.....
I watched at least 10 times this video .. but I do not get tired because it is so incredible! What an idea !
Man, this is the best video I ever seen !
I saw this when it first came out and loved it. Since then I forgot about it and then I suddenly remembered and it took like 2 months to find this again. BUT ITS SO WORTH IT!
i had to watch this again... I got goosebumps all over my body at 3:53...
0:24 this scene where the engines start up on the KLM is well done and incredibly haunting to me, especially when combined with the music. It's what led me back to this video after all these years.
Great video! almost began to tear up at the end there :/
Now, this just appeared on my recommended page, and OMG, the memories this is giving me back. I was like 9 when I first saw this. It would be absolutely great a recreation of a second part in MFS2020. Now, if u keep doing more of this films in MFS2020 it would be the comeback of the king of flightsim video creation. Keep it up buddy!
excellently done !!
Truly one the best FSX movies I've watched.
So awesome!! Great Job!
As a plane enthusiast, i remember first watching these mfsx montages back in 2012 to 2013, this is nostalgia at its finest 👌👌
Thanks for spoiling us with such videos
wow this really beautyfull, R.I.P+respect for this video
Stunning.
Your job of recreation is simply monumental.
Thanks for highlighting this "dark" side of aviation remembering people who perished and that must not be forgotten.
Soundtrack you did chose is simply beautiful.
Hats off Man.
Best regards from Italy 🙋🏻♂️🙇🏻♂️
Marco [iKG]
Not to sound heartless, I know that these crashes were terrible, the thing is, these were the exceptions. There are millions less deaths a year in aviation than in say, cars. Flying by plane is technically the safest way to go places. When things do go wrong though, they definitely do go terribly wrong.
Nightwolf yeah thats the thing ... in one day thousands of cars do crash but most arent fatal , however if a plane crashes its most likely to be fatal
We have to remind "our passion is more dangerous than we think", never think you're invincible in flight, you earned my respect too, great video!
you should do a second video with example: United airlines flight 232, TWA 800, American airlines 191 & 587, Malaysia airlines 17, Korean airlines 007, Swissair 111, Asiana airlines 214 and Transasia Airways 235.
This video was really good. I liked and subbed, and I agree with JonoJA11.
+Keil Gilby Yes, the co-pilot "kicked" the rudder from one side to the other, for which obviously it is not designed. But I think he isn't really the (only) one to blame. As far as I know, AAL trained their pilots to react that ridiculously to encountering wake turbulence, which was what happened to them.
May all who lost their lives in those tragic accidents rest in peace. And let's hope disasters like that on Tenerife (damn that idotic KLM pilot ...) never occur again.
+JRSchiphol Great Video. Truly serves its purpose as a memorial for all who died. *thumps up*
+Keil Gilby Didn't mean to insult KLM. But as far as the investigation found out, the KLM pilot was in a hurry and took off without the necessary permission. The transcript of the CVR is published online, where it is clear that he didn't make sure that the Pan Am 747 was already off the runway, and he seemed to give no sh*t about the opinions of his F/O. And this still makes me angry. Although I know that this accident was a unlucky chain of tragic coincidences (if the KLM 747 hadn't fueled up, she would have cleared the Pan Am etc. etc.), misunderstandings, a cowardly act of terrorism (separatists set off a bomb at Las Palmas, the actual destination of KL4805 und PA1736, which caused the diversion to Tenerife in the first place) and the bad weather (which also lead to the mistake by the Pan Am crew, who vacated the runway one taxiway too late ...).
+boffis123 and 9/11
+boffis123 I don't think he'll do another. D:
+FXS Indeed. I won't
Almost cried here. All the memories, all that feeling that many people died doing what they loved to do. Rest in peace. Awesome edition and music.
WOW, your videos are fantastic!
"Our passion is more dangerous than we think..." Excellent work. What a poignant but chilling ending. 10/10
Great video soo touching
I can’t think of anybody calling this video horrible, its truly amazing and it pays tributes to real events! Good Job on this video, JRSchipol! It feels nice returning to it after 3 years.
Sad but the morality I is right..
RIP to all the victims of those accidents
Dude, I have liked and subbed for two years, and I still keep come back haveing to check this one out again and again. I love how realistic you make it. Just, like, as sad as it sounds, there are real people on those planes, makeing people shed real tears, and how you made them based off real, mostly well known plane crashes too. I would give you a gold play button for your work. Beautiful. None other.
Air France 296 wasn't actually flying over a paved runway when it hit the trees.
That´s true but, on FSX, the supposed dirt runway is something like a farm or something and so, the only "actual" runway is the paved one.
This is the single best piece of cinematic work in the Flight Sim community! The angles we get, the way the screen cuts out at the crash, the way the film starts out with the worst crash in history, and ends with it. You need to be paid for this! This is amazing! You could become an amazing director! SERIOUSLY! THIS IS TRULY AWESOME! And when I say awesome I mean that it truly fills you with awe! I am filled with genuine hatred for that bastard "my flight channel", and for the bastards that defend him! I know that that stealing **** has more views then you, but YOU truly are the king of Flight Sim Machinas, maybe even the king of all machinas!
+Speedbird Just reading this now. Thanks so much for the support!
No problem my friend! One suggestion. If you were to make a sequel, maybe choose non fatal accidents such as BA 38, and dedicate it to the heroic pilots who saved lives.
Probably your best video ever....
I have watched this video so much times you would not believe it. Despite the fact that these are tragic disasters, I still believe that this video is an utter masterpiece. Well done!
Awesome!
This is absolutely moving and just great! thanks for making it, yes, please go ahead part 2 or even part 3. I also keep watching Air Crash Investigations.
1:51 was the failure of bolts on the inboard engine pylon, not a missile strike.
True, but it did leave some nasty dirt, holes and more on the wing... if that is what u are aiming to discuss about
The dirt was probably burnt metal from the inboard engine striking the outboard one when it detatched.
yes exactly
I still can't believe people said it was a missile strike. You would have seen the rocket motor trail.
JRSchiphol how's it charred?
This is one of the best fsx movies that represents the dangers of flying and helps us remember those who parish on the dark days so we will never forget 10/10 nicely done on this video
wow 3 nearly 4 years later :O
I know right! Time fly's. And almost at 300K views, and I didn't get a penny of it hahahaha
You deserve to get something back from this, it's truly amazing
Should I give you my paypal adress for a donation? hehehe
yus :>
ive been with this channel since 11k :3
AMAZING video!!!! 10/10! I think I've watched this video more than any other fsx movie out there. Great job man.
You should get OCAR for this!
Never heard of these 'OCAR's you speak of.
Adolf Hitler Ok... you mean Oscar?
HTC pilot What's An "OCAR"?
Not allowed Stop trying ok guys i meant oscar and did not noticed the mistake I Made. Pls don't blame on me
HTC pilot after 1 year ok
The editing on this video is so perfect; from the music choice to the layer of clips.
the best fsx movie...
Your videos deserve more views, indeed.
as soon as the panam 747 showed up at 3:42 the hair stood up on the back of my neck ~ chilling & brilliant work
ok for all the people who like explosianns you are a soulless monster and fsx is in no capable exploding anamations R.I.P to all the people who died
supreme rc I agree
amen to tjhat
Agreed
frankothegamer but they are souless why some may ask cause the number of fatalities in all these plane crashes is so so so sad i cried during the vid i was once in a plane crash and i would never want any one to expiriance it and a explosian on the ground can kill somone so rip to all the people who died in these horibble plane crashes i was like 4 any my little bro was 1 and it was so scary i hope every one gets my point
frankothegamer actually a explosian can strike the human and cause major inguries and may result in death
This is by far one of the best FSX videos I have seen. May they rest in peace
Hey, Your videos are brilliant!
I have few maybe stupid questions ..
Have you seen all Air crash Investigation series?
How old are you? You said in description that its very sad when you fly yourself, I've never seen young people who is thinking about this.. Maybe you are an Pilot? :O
I too want record fsx, but my pc is annoying..
When the new video comes out?
I havent seen all ACI episode, but some of them.
I am just 17 years old ;)
New video is coming soon! I was very busy with school and my exams are coming closer too!
Thanks video watching!
JRSchiphol 17 years!? :O
Respect man, respect.
JRSchiphol I'm 10 and almost know everything about planes. ALMOST
JRSchiphol still learning through ACI :-)
JRSchiphol I LUV UR VIDEOS SO MUCH!!!!!
It's been probably 100th time i watch it. And every time i watch it , it touches so deeply...
Holy crap, this would make a good movie trailer to a movie called "a distant echo" !
+Henk Denk ikr

Hayden Adkins Or even a TV series that replays each crash or something like that.
bellcc TheTuxedoBros AirCrash Investigation is where you want to look for crash reenactments
I really love your work JRSchipol you inspire me to make videos like this.
GTAFlightsHD hi
Trenfire Airport and Amsterdam was very sad crashes I've ever seen
But how did u remove the 2 engine in 747 Amsterdam crash?? :0
Green screen effects ;)

maybe a mod
10/10 absolutely amazing. All of us aviation enthusiasts do have a dangerous passion. This truly made my eyes tear up. I definitely couldn't make anything near this good. You've earned a subscriber.
I think you should have added a few more flights such as PSA 182 or the ValuJet crash but I understand you where limited because if the length of the the song. Fantastic video tho
Gaming Blueberry I actually regret that I used the Afriqiyah crash since it was not so special and the conditions were not realistic as they were in real life and not a lot of people knew about it. Appart from all the dutch people because the only survivor was a dutch boy.
Anyways. Yeah I think I wanted to do that crash with the 727 and the cessna collision (not sure what crash it was) but FSX kept crashing so I didi something for finish it fast. Should not have done that.
Anyways, yeah the amount of crashes was limited. Even though I made the song SHORTER and edited a lot in it.
Thanks for watching!
Gaming Blueberry yeah that was PSA182 lol.
JRSchiphol You should of done swiss air 111.
but i didnt ;)
Gosh, The video is made and uploaded. Nothing can be changed now.
I just. when i watch this, it just makes me sad. This is AMAZING. I love how you didnt show the actual crashes but you showed how they started and were made.
RIP Pan Am
He makes this video like a history of crashes in a better way
Very well-cutted and it looks so real! But I don't like the 2nd before end sentence
Why you didin't like the 2nd sentence before the end? Because it's true?
.:AirbusFan:. I don't think that it's true. Diving a car is much more dangerous!
FRA Aviation Yes, I agree, but flying aircraft is dangerous too.
FRA Aviation
Everything about flying is inherently dangerous, and when something does go wrong, its a major cause for concern///
Well, driving a car for example is much more dangerous...
this was a great short film to bring awareness to the horrible accidents, very well done. R.I.P
I was also expecting a JAL 123 scene
You do know how hard it is to put a huge gaping hole at the tail section of a 747 in FSX, right?
M F HAHA
It was already hard for the El Al flight
M F Do you know how hard it is to take out 2 engines?
I tried to create JAL 123 in FSX it goes so bad
I watched this video when it originally came out 7 years ago. It was so powerful to me at the time I’ve remembered it ever since. One of the very few videos I remember watching from back then. Also this video introduced me to Snow Patrol for the first time so that’s cool. Anyway ye I just remembered it again and thought I’d come back to rewatch it lol
RIP for malaysia airlines
