Enabling environment for small-scale producers One-on-One Interview with Ian Assam & Ayanda Gqoboka

ECSECC Development Planning Specialist Ian Assam caught up with Chief Executive Officer of Joe Gqabi Economic Development Agency (JoGEDA) Ayanda Gqoboka for a one-on-one interview on work being done to support small-scale potato producers, at the sidelines of the Eastern Cape Rural Development Agency (ECRDA) Potato Commodity Dialogue.
The dialogue took place on Wednesday, 08 November 2023 in East London and was attended by policy makers, industry players, and experts from the potato industry in South Africa.
The Agency is hosting a series of dialogues with its crucial stakeholders ahead of its 2024/25 Strategic Planning Session. The outputs of these dialogues will be factored into the 2024/25 ECRDA Annual Performance Plan.
