welcome to the latest episode of our DCS sorties, showing a mixed team flying on Tempest blue flash.
This was our first flight in a combination like this - although there is still a lot to lern, this sortie showed us how powerful this mixed team cound be. We will definitely fly more of this in the future.

Rooftop MANPAD exterminated with extreme prejudice. Fantastic video! This kind of gameplay is really the goal that the frontline on this server was designed for. Excellent stuff
We are slowly getting to love Tempest - it really sets up a very immersive gameplay. Recently we have been flying with a 2 shark team there as well and didnt find anything to take out but still it was a very cool experience because of the way the campaign is set up. You never know what the situation is, until you arrive on scene :D
Loved the video... I am getting into the hind and would be very much interested in flying with some other helo pilots. How does one go about messaging as you mentioned? Keep up the great content, earned a sub from me my friend!

i am well rounded in jets but a rocky in the Hellies

That is no bad gear at all. To ease out the inputs, I’d suggest adding a 25 point curve to the joystick within the dcs settings if you don’t have a joystick extension. Otherwise it’s really a lot about practice. Helos are pushed around by wind and small rotor pitch adjustments. In the beginning you will fight those until you become more stable.
Really good, coherent storytelling, which not a lot of DCS videos have. Any video showcasing good teamwork like this is like crack for me.

A more deadlier combo for a Blackshark and a Hind would be 2 Blacksharks ^^;;

Shkval is a lot more useful on a stable platform than on a fast mover like Su25.
To be honest, I have never flown the SU25 althought its a cool aircraft.
@@helldivermando i did... tho my system was pretty minimum but... i had to find this Roland while it was shooting at me... and I had zero success... tried every trick in the book but the damn thing was on the move and i was either within it's kill range or passed overhead before i could lock on it. 25 is too fast to hit anything but a solitary building with it... or smaller things that don't shoot back... should have tried the rockets i guess...
i fly ka50 on grayflag most of the time would like to squad up if you're online sometimes ! :)

Smart tactic especially in cities where its hard to spot targets. Just tried it with a Hind-Frogfoot combo. Worked like a charm
8:50 The Vikhr isnt able to penetrate The abrams frontal composite armor. Could it be that you still had it in AA mode from the last engagement

Hey, sure that cockpit is cool. About the AA mode, I thought the same thing but while reviewing the recording it didnt seem so. Maybe it was just a strong leaf floating around.
Vikhr can definitely pierce the DCS Abrahms from the front - at least if you hit the hull. The turret it seems to struggle, possibly not because of the different protection/sloping, but almost as if the barrel's hitbox is larger than it appears and makes the Vikhr airburst prematurely.
What's the custom cockpit?
@@volkvoort Thats possible. I just know i never managed to kill an Abrams with the Vikhr's fom the front. The custom cockpit is based on one of Devrim's reskins but with a more precise fuel gauge. Cooked that up when we were testing out the Shark's fuel efficiency.

ADI? Hm.. that’s odd. I’m pretty sure it is not flagged, do you mean the HSI? Because that would be the case.
One combo for you to try, a mixture of Gazelles and Ka50s, me and two friends used to fly that through Caucasus and ended up absolutely shitting down an airfield. Me in the Gazelle shot down a low flying Flanker.
Wow, that sounds pretty powerful. Especially the gazelles are hard to track. We fly russian stlye helos only but might give this a try. Thanks for the suggestion.
@@helldivermando it was pretty insane, I haven't played the upgraded Ka50 with the air to air missiles, but the Gazelle also gets a RwR which helps you track down those stinky fighters
