Whether she'll actually BE Scream or is just another host for Riot, I'm not sure.
Also, in the comics, the Life Foundation somehow spawned five symbiotes from the original Venom symbiote. They were Scream, Lasher, Agony, Riot, and Phage. They all had common abilities, and each had a specialty. Phage, for example, could shoot blades like we see in the trailer. I'm starting to think that for the sake of the movie, the five symbiotes had been combined into one or two.
Tandava, feel free to timestamp them instead of saying "watch carefully." I've seen the trailer a lot of times. While I'm leaning toward there being more than just one or two besides Venom, I could make cases for there being all of them except Lasher. I probably won't, though, since I did a lot of speculating on Justice League that turned out to be a waste of time, and I'm not doing that again for any company's superhero movie.
And Phage is supposedly in the movie as well, along with supposedly a lead in post credits (or ending shot etc) of someone becoming Carnage. Supposedly.

Basically Eddie Brock was a reporter who fell into a string of bad luck and as a result he lost his job, his parents disowned him, his wife left him and he was such a public disgrace that the only job he could get was in the tabloid business. He blamed Spider-Man for his life being ruined (it made sense in context). Before the alien symbiote was bonded to Eddie Brock, it’s first host was Spider-Man. Contrary to most modern media depictions of the symbiote, it had no negative influence on Spider-Man’s personality. The symbiote developed an attachment (fell in love with) to Spider-Man. However, when Spider-Man discovered it was alive and trying to merge with his body permanently, Peter broke free and severed their bond. The symbiote doesn’t really have a name but Eddie often referred to it as “The Other.” Feeling rejected, the other now hated Spider-Man and wanted revenge. It found Eddie, who also hated Spider-Man, and Venom was born. The movie is based on a comic called Venom: Lethal Protector that you can read up on for context. The story is only 6 issues long. So you can finish it really fast. The best part is it is on TH-cam so you don’t even have to pay for it. I should tell you in advance that the comic is very different from the movie. First of all, in the movie, Eddie and the other have a Jeckel and Hyde relationship and the other controls its host and Eddie is a hapless passenger. In the comics, it was kind of akin to “fusion” if you are a fan of Dragonball Z. 2 weaker characters joining together to form 1 stronger character. Goku and Vegeta become Gogeta. Eddie and the other become Venom. Second, the story is surprisingly not as dark as the movie. Leaning more towards action than horror. Third, this is the classic depiction of Venom, which means none of the cannibalism the modern depiction has. However Venom does enjoy making descriptive threats that often suggests eating his victims. Though his bark seems to be slightly worse than his bite. R rating means more bloody violence like Venom is. If you make it pg13 then the movie would be less exciting. But ofcourse if you are under 18 I can understand why you wouldn't care about it.
Imagine if deadpool was rated pg13, it would get a major shitstorm. Some people watch movies to enjoy a certain experience to invest in a story that you like. (otherwise you wouldn't go see the movie), Imagine if the alien movies were rated pg13 or imagine if any horror flick has a pg13 rating. Or die hard a pg13 rating, the movies would suck. I can enjoy pg13 movies like avengers and other marvel movies and none marvel movies.
