    Thank you Will, this is great. As an older man, training for a 70,3, this is interesting. How many cals do you try to hit and where do you stand on tracking..?

      Hi mate, I sit around the 2600-3000 mark when I'm not training but when I was training fully for my Ironman I would sit around 3200-4000 depending on the days. I definitely think that its beneficial as it provides you with an insight into what actually how much food you need and where it comes from. Low energy availability is very common in endurance athletes and something as you get old can be the cause of injury due to lack of fuel. definitely a positive tool to use if you want to perform for sure.
