It might to helpful to mention that the laser line may not be calibrated properly when you receive it. The light rotates with a wide flat blade (screw driver or table knife) and by using a carpenter square of known square reference (floor, doorway, window, etc) you can adjust the laser line to correct position. As ma y have stated, this inexpensive version does not have a gyro to determine true earth/gravity level.
How do you know if the horizontal line of the laser is realy horizontal? I bought one and there is only one waterbulb (excuse my english) on top of the device which does not tell you if the horizontal line of the laser is correct
@@JimMcLaren1950no Jim, that bulb on top does not indicate whether the laser beam is horizontal. The bulb is in the wrong orientation to determine that. There is no inbuilt way to determine if the beam is actually horizontal.
It is only the way turn it side on, the switch should be on top, then you have all three bubbles work. Only the problem to fix it on right position then.
Mine didnt come with a tripod. Think you might attach tripod on bottom of level. Might thread in or attach with some kind of clip. Look at the top of the tripod.

What are you 4 years old? Did you watch the entire video? He did show how to turn the laser on and how to switch between the 3 different types of laser and as for changing the battery, he did show how to open the battery compartment and changing the battery is like changing any type of battery. Remove the old battery, replace with new battery, replace the battery compartment and then screw it shut. Remember to dispose of the old battery in a responsible manner.

Yes very good idea magnet on the bottom. I have a small level with magnet comes in handy.
It is magnetic
no need to open battery cover just pull the paper tab if you don't need to see type of batteries

This is junk. Pay a few more $$ and get one that has a magnet and can actually show true level.
