    Its all about your customer base if you commonly getting higher quality pieces of similar style you begin to form a niche and community and are able to sell items for higher prices

    Congratulations on your 1 year brother! My wife and I just celebrated 16 years in July.

    Congrats on your one year anniversary. Don’t you love reselling? Summer full of vacations and no boss to approve your PTO!

      It’s great minus sales plummeting while on vacation😂 goal is to have an employee next year though so they can ship and list while we travel haha. I guess the real trade off is free vacations though with airline miles from the business!

    Everyone should take a break; good for body and soul. Don't apologize for it is for your health benefits. Nice sales; we are still hopeful as it's been crickets on Ebay for us.

    How are you guys able to take so much time off and away from eBay? Do you still post listings while on vacation? Are you not worried about delayed shipping or slowing traffic? eBay is like a freight train and doesn't pick up right where you left off.

    Yeah Tommy Bahama has never sold for more than $25 for me no matter how I hard I try

    An Alaskan Cruise?! I was just looking into those today (for WAY in the future). I also want to do one that leaves from Seattle so we can hike Mount Saint Helens either before or after the cruise. I was born in Ketchikan and haven’t been back since I was a baby and I know alot of the cruises stop there. I’d love to see a video about the cruise if you were thinking about doing one!!

    Congrats on y’all’s anniversary. Question…I’m from the Austin Texas area heading to the Dallas area in the beginning of july. Any big flea markets around y’alls 😂area ?

    • @kandmresell
      @kandmresell  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Canton flea market is the only one I know which is the biggest in the US. But I’ve been once and it wasn’t good for inventory.

    Fairway shores is definitely who you are talking about and his comps are deceiving. I believe he doesn’t show his solds so when he goes to relist his store all of his comps show full price because once you relist your store the items officially get ended and will show that they all sold for full asking but they did not. Also it seem likes he ok with waiting for years for the right buyer, with that kind of patience and with enough time the right buyer comes along

    • @kandmresell
      @kandmresell  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yup, and that makes sense! Agreed on the time he waits. That’s why I said super low sell-through rate which was a given with ridiculously high prices.

      @jordanschoffstall 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So I couldn't help it, had to jump down this particular rabbit hole... Dude most definitely has sold the items that are listed as "sold." If you copy and paste the exact item title into the eBay product research search bar, they show up. And some show sold prices that are lower than what's shown on the store's page. But only slightly lower. Call me a hater, I couldn't care less. Somethin' is up when you're selling a plain Jane used Patagonia fleece for damn near $250. And it's not their patience. I'm just sayin'..

    To give an opinion about why the guy with tommy bahama can sell these for so high. I think he used “ high value strategy “ I don’t remember proper term for it but basically, it’s playing trick on psychology. People see it at high price and perceive it as high prestige valuable items. Obviously, only small percentage of people think that way so there sell through rate is low but they get high price. For them why spend time sourcing listing packing for 2 while you can make the same profit selling one.

    • @kandmresell
      @kandmresell  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah I thought the same. Just doesn’t make any sense though to me with used Tommy Bahamas when there 100,000 listed. The only problem I had is he has tons of sold Nike and adidas polos that sell used for the same price as MSRP which then that strategy goes out the window.

    • @hp4415
      @hp4415 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kandmresell yeah that strategy usually only works for rare items. My guess is he built a niche followers. How he does that I don’t know.

    You got lucky not getting a vero for NWT Patagonia, I only sold NWT Patagonia before I knew it was a vero. Were you not aware? Or do you guys not care ?

      It was a joke😂 the guys making legit sales. It’s just confusing how as the items are generic and never sell for the prices he gets to anyone other sellers on eBay.
