My Mum is going to NYC in November this year!! I'm so excited for her! We're from a small country town in Australia so I think the crowds will be a bit of a shock but she loves adventure so I'm sure she will have a blast.. I just wish I was going with her :)

Loved every step of the journey. Tell her to use the subway or she will get exhausted. Also, picnic in Central Park with a nap on the lawn. She can get good food from Whole Foods in Columbus Circle, right across the street from the park. Ok I’ll stop now. I get so excited 😆!!! Ooohhh, she should do the top of the Rock!!!!! I used to walk across the Bk bridge after work a lot a few years ago and the thing is that had of that narrow walk is supposed to be for bicycles and the other for walking but people like to walk side by side with their group and that takes up the whole half so people go walking over to the bike side. I realized that I hated walking the bridge due to all the crowds and people stopping suddenly blocking the way and forcing people to walk on the bike side to get past them, so I began walking from the Manhattan bridge. The Manhattan bridge is just so much more peaceful and civil and it takes you to Chinatown in Manhattan. You also get a great view of the Bk bridge, but from not the Bk bridge

Nice. I'm only 2 hours away from New York, in Philadelphia. It was so much fun seeing New York through your eyes. I've been to New York many times, but never to Brooklyn. I still need to get there. I think I also need to go back to NYC too to try that sandwich

We miss our electronic toothbrush, water flosser, and our blender! Instant pot would be so nice too. But yeah, so many adaptors and such! And no room in the packs! Fun seeing you all in the states, we love NYC. My husband was born and raised in Queens.
