This was a beautiful drama about friendship between mature women - no girlie stuff here. The situation and roles were so real. It was heartbreaking but also soothing to see the power of friendship in making even the worst situation somewhat less painful. I loved this drama
Omg just finished this drama in 3 days! I cried my eyes out which is very rare for me! I wonder why it hasnt received buzz or big recognition and promotion as I think it should have? The cast was already A cast, the acting is superb, storyline is sad but drama is so good. May be because it’s so sad and touching? I like it so much but wont be watching twice, cant handle all the tugging at heartstrings 😭
Funnily enough, whatever clips that are included in this 10 min clip are the only enjoyable parts from the entire 12 episodes show - the rest of the show was so bad - it could have been so much better but it was destroyed by poor writing and direction skills
@@mehakalang2562 sorry but i beg to differ. this was literally such a good show. everyone grew throughout the show and it was lovely to see that. the stark potrayal of all kinds of relationships is sooo good and in my opinion that is what made this show so beautiful. not every show has to be packed with fierce, strong impression making scenes - something natural like their daily lives and how much they care about one another through small things was so satisfying to watch. as a admirer of this drama - i would request you to view the drama from a slightly different perspective. thank you
@@diyamukherjee1897 sorry to say - the show has bad writing - from my every perspective - I've watched plenty of realistic kdramas as well such (recent ones being liberation notes and our blues) which have a very good writing. This thirty nine kdrama was more of a cha mijo show honestly - laughably we saw everything from her perspective rather than her friends perspective who was going to die soon . 😂 And honestly, i felt zero connect with cha mijo till the very end - the scenes were hardly impactful - except only the last ep of series - that's all

So thankful that I watched Thirty Nine first, before the trending KDramas on Netflix. I watched it because of Son Yejin ad Jeon MiDo. The two actress that change my heart in 2020 because of CLOY and HP, and now this 2022, so thankful that they are now together in one series, in a heavy drama. After 2 years my favorite heavy drama is Hi Bye Mama and Thirty Nine.
