This scene cracks me up! Black Mask punching out his henchmen, throwing the desk around, shouting up a storm, and after this clip cuts out, he's pushing his henchmen out of the way as he runs for cover from the rocket launcher. Man, why haven't we gotten Black Mask in a live action movie, yet? He'd be AWESOME!
That's what the fuck I'm asking? Deckard Shaw would make a great Black Mask! Robert De Niro must play Carmine Falcone, James Woods as Sal Maroni, Christopher Walken as Lew Moxon, Lawrence Fishburne as Rupert Thorne, and Willem Dafoe as The Joker!
@@davidcase8635 Jason Statham (deckard shaw) would've actually been a good choice for black mask this version of him is exactly how jason statham would act like.
Not really. He's one of the few Batman villains that DOESNT kill/torture his henchmen. Rather get punched in the face than be the new test subject of Joker's shotgun.
As much as I like that idea, it's a bit hard to imagine Jason with Harley and not try to kill her considering she's a criminal and her boyfriend killed him.

Jokes aside, Black Mask is actually pretty smart. He knew to some small extent that this isn't how Batman operates. And as a comment pointed out down bellow, he kind of figured they were being used and just caught in the middle of it.
I'm aware that his mask is burned into his face and that it moves with his mouth in the source material but I just think it's more frightening if they did it in the way I mentioned (Like a Darth Vader type of thing). To me he looks more campy when the mask and mouth are synced. Only my opinion.
Isaiah Johnson The mask isn't burnt into his face. That IS his face. The mask was just a normal looking face made of his father's ebony coffin. If, for whatever reason, he couldn't move his mouth, he might have a tad trouble eating and drinking, wouldn't he?
As cool as the Nolan version of Bane was, I kind of wish he had used Black Mask for the last movie. He is far more realistic than many other Batman villains-essentially he's just a mob boss with a flamboyant streak. But he's also dark and complex enough to fit into Nolan's Gotham City pretty easily.
I love the way she says blew up the truck, the drivers.. Just the way she talks about them separately to the truck just makes me laugh and the fact it makes red hood sound like an explosives addict.
This scene always crack me up. All three guys get punch in the face, except the black guy who get hit in the stomach. The first one get such a sweet punch, you can tell he fall back hard. I rotfl watching this
I always liked the subtle fact that one of the reason’s Black Mask was as big as he was, was because he was incredibly sharp. Even though he wasn’t sure, he could feel like the conflict going on was between RH and Batman, and they’re just a means to an end. With sharp instincts like that, it’s no surprise he was became such an influence in the underworld.
At least we see he draws the line somewhere he punches his henchmen but not the one person making snarky comments at him(if this was the comics though...)
Kira Lawlet I'm pretty sure that woman is supposed to be David Li, Black Masks right hand man, they have witty banter in the comics quite a lot. No idea why they made Li a woman though
In case it wasn't apparent, Red Hood is pretty sarcastic, too (assuming you read the comics and watched the movies). What separates them is that Deadpool (or "Dealpool" as you call him) is light-hearted and doesn't take his vendetta too seriously, whereas Jason Todd is a man with a plan based on vengeance, and is probably more serious about accomplishing his goals than his 'counter-part.'
They probably aren't even bodyguards. He probably just pays them to stand around and let him kick the crap out of them; its kind of like anger management.
Thing is, though, Marvel villains tend to get comparatively little character development; most of Marvel's efforts go to making their heroes interesting. That's basically the general rule: Marvel has the more interesting heroes, DC has the villains. A few exceptions to the rule, of course, but there you go.
"We are stuck in the damn crossfire " The irony of him saying that and Immediately gets pointed at with a Rocket Launcher to the head. Though,Hes correct.
There were some elements of Black Mask in Nolan's version of Bane. In some ways he is kind of generic-crime boss in a mask. But in some others he is unique; the ways he has tormented Bruce Wayne and Catwoman make him one of the most personal Batman villains. And he has a bloodthirst that only the Joker or Zsaz really exceed.
This guy is way scarier in the comics. Like Joker scary. He kills a man and forces his wife to eat his remain. And he tortures Stephanie Brown (AKA: Spoiler, Batgirl #3, girl Robin, Tim Drake's (Robin #3) girlfriend) to death.
Red Hood waving, "Hello."
Black Mask, "Oh hell."
Who knew red hood was so polite
Black mask: oh hell no
"Oh, so we have another Batman? One that doesn't mind the blood?"
I bloody love that line. The face and delivery sells it.
"SO HE CAN TAKE ON THE WINNER? WHAT DO YOU THINK THIS IS, A TENNIS TOURNAMENT?!"
My favorite line
😂😂😂
I thought Black Mask knew Batman better than that. Why hasn’t he figured out he’s Bruce Wayne or that red hood was Robin?
I first thought he said: what do you think this is, a tekken tournament.
😂 this is funny stuff
"Wow he can sure run when he wants to" - Red Hood
Love this movie
Aw, love how he punches his bodyguards but doesn't lay a finger on the woman. I knew Blackmask was really a gentleman...sort of.
mooks are replaceable, competent secretary aren't

Alex Batey you're right but i can't imagine ms. li bossing them around (too busy keeping the boss in check?)

She probably knew how to fight better than the Black Mask.
Alex Batey true but she's probably smart enough to settle to be 'the hand behind the power' rather than be in charge but be a target
