It's so pathetic that these T4H players play like this, 2 years into the game.
Something must be done about this in UFC 5. Because these players LEGITIMATELY enjoy playing like this. They're ostracized from the competitive community, hated anywhere they go, the only explanation is that they enjoy taking the little life this game has left, out of it.

Number one rule of ufc 4. Don't play HW LHW And definitely don't fight someone who picks jon jones.
I’m ngl HW and LHW are the only weight classes I’ll play in ranked cause they’re the most fun imo.

I fought many Jon Jones players lately🤣 also yesterday, and they mostly suck. Using annoying strikes especially the jump spinning Bodykick and stuff. Its easy to beat them when they suck or are too aggressive but man jon jones is very dangerous in this game
The fact that people think this style is normal and that whoever doesn’t like it is just salty makes me honestly wonder how much of a loser these type of people really are because for you to play a game have to make it toxic in order to win says a lot about you these type of player is the reason a lot people literally stopped playing this game I hope UFC 5 is different

@@stickyrecordz7996 not only the spam when you are throwing combos a takedownn attempt or clinch disrupts the combo even if he is eating haymakers. Also a clinch removes stagger immediately.
The ufc community have some of the most toxic people I've seen in comment sections so honestly doesn't surprise me that these kinds of players exist

I totally agree with you when you say you don’t see how it’s fun. I mean, yea it’s nice to win, but the knee, elbow, and clinch combo is not impressive at all. He’s just using abilities in the game that he knows he can exploit. It’s much more fun when you think about it like a real fight and actually try to do techniques to counter/ set up your opponent, and I feel like I can speak for most of the community when I say that

Very surprised that’s 2 years later that this playstyle is still overly successful. With Jon like you mentioned, he’s absolutely the best fighter u want in a five round fight so the spam is gonna be constant

I kind of Imagine people that play that style maybe get bullied in real life or they hate life and they come home and want to make everyone's experience as sucky as possible. I find it really hard to understand why someone would want to play that way. When they are done, do they put the controller down and smile and go "yep...😏...good times.... can't wait to do that again tomorrow 😁"
Exactly. I play UFC 4 to roleplay as my favorite fighters, so I'm not ranked highly, but I see this shit even in like ranks 5-10 all the time and it's like bro you're not even high level why be so sweaty. I want to roleplay as Nate Diaz, not get spam elbow, knee, clinch for every fight. It's why I almost have fun in the lower levels, less of this. It's still prevelent but not as bad.
I don't play like this in this game or any game anymore but when I was a teen I did. I grew up with 5 older siblings that would crush me in everything sports games anything, and they'd all mock me even though they are huge compared to me. so I'd play to make them as angry as possible and it carried over to playing vs everyone I'd play and find something super annoying to do and I'd get joy from knowing they are mad. I haven't done it in years (since I was like 19ish) but I think some people develop these bad habits and don't grow out of them.

I play a lot of MMO's too so I try to treat it like 'okay he found the meta so he uses it, I could use it too but I don't." I don't mind getting my ass kicked, but at least make it fun, is my general philosophy.

When i am dealing with such players i take them down and hold/ground and pound them. Sometimes spamming the straight when he wants to clinch also works.

The way to make them stop is to just allow them to take you down, but be active with many strikes, rubbergaurds, and submissions. I do this to every player who plays this way and I win every decision, or make them abandon the ground game.

Martial if you want to get into 3D modeling you definitely need to learn how to use blender. Can model and make animations with it and its fairly easy to learn just hard to master

I'm not a cheeser but I dislike a player who complains about wrestling or challenges me to Stand & Bang when they lose😂 Alot of Stand & Bang guys come over to MMA and get outstruck because it's different when you have to worry about clinching and ground game.

Honestly I just leave against players like this. Idc about ranked points or losing over having fun with the game. I noticed even if I won it was just a bad time all around. There was cheese in 3 but I don't think we had anything nearly as annoying as some of the mechanics in 4

here was my idea take out stamina and health bars and do what thrill of the fight did and thats u can rock someone but they can recover u have to land damaging stikes to finish and then for stamina make it like real life the more u use something the more it gets tired and needs to recover for example if i throw multiple kicks make it so your slower because ur tired and need to recover that way it makes the game more technical and not just spam fest bassically make it like irl where if u be stupid your gonna get koed but if u play smart u will win

I had hard times in ufc3 with one of them . I played striker and he always pulled me to the cage or did cheap ankle takedowns . Denied all stuff and fakes so I suppose he had a cheat . So I just realised this game a shit and started to play more fair games
I’m down to him 10-3 but I’m the only time he beats me is when the clinch glitches and it lets him get unlimited knees other than hat use straight leaf hooks to intercept the clinch and knees you can also go to the body is he’s worried about clinching once you get his head and body low enough he panics and starts shooting take downs then you just gotta outgrapple him or have good td defense and if you know how to grapple you should be fine then once you win he rage quits
If the next UFC is gonna play like this one then I will not be buying. Long time UFC fan played every game since undisputed and the game has only gotten worse since undisputed 3. Recently un installed this the other day.
Midevol plays like this too with non stop clinching and trash stand-up. He's ranked 3 on Xbox. Might even be the same person under different account name
I never fight against JJ player's, im not dealing with all that cheese, all the time they start loosing they start the elbows, knees and tds spam

The players I go up against they only go max Holloway nate Diaz Connor mcgregor and Jon Jones those are the only people I go up against because they pick nobody else

This is the exact reason why I play strictly offline and with friends. The PRO AI makes you roleplay as who you're using, if you make mistakes it'll capitalize most of the time, which makes me think ahead of the next 10 exchanges, whether it's grappling, striking, countering, or point fighting
I beat this guy once and was insanely happy😂 I side step hooked his spinning side kick to the head
You also have to get in the same stance as them and they can do the osoto gari or you have to pre-deny it
I avoid LHW and HW like the plague, I will flat out refuse to play even if I really want to when ranked is on those weight classes, it’s so fucking sluggish even the heavyweights that are actually pretty fast in real life feel so fucking slow, and you always go against the most spammy players in those weight classes🤷🏻♂️
In conclusion There nothing honorable losing to someone who put lil to no effort for a win that they won by using broken game mechanics
People that play like him need they’re hard drives checking and put straight on the sex offenders list 😂
So cringy watching people play like this it actually frustrates me
