*UPDATE*Miraculous Ladybug/Marinette Wig Styling (Odango method)

So I've gotten a lot of requests on making this wig for other cosplayers so I wanted to share Etsy where I now list the wig on a made to order basis. The link can be found here: www.etsy.com/shop/SunsetRogue...
Ladybug/Marinette has a very unique hairstyle, one that can't necessarily be captured with wig wefts alone. I used the 'odango' method in order to create the pigtails on mine. This is most commonly used on Sailor Moon's iconic meatball head.
I used a Dionysus in blue/black fusion from Epic Cosplay and it was long enough to use to create the odango's without needing to use an additional weft. You can find the exact wig in the link below.

I decided to record as much of the process as possible in order to share, however I know there may be things I didn't linger on, so please feel free to comment with any questions below!
This method tends to take a LONG time and can be a bit draining. For anyone who may not necessarily want to go with this method I highly encourage you to check out Lenora Lucreita's channel and see how she styled hers

+countryshipper Not a problem! It's really hard to show/talk about how things are coming together without seeing the process. I am a visual learner and struggle if I don't feel like I'm doing it through the person I'm watching. For this one it's really was not that hard of a process, but it was very time consuming. Hope your wig turns out amazingly!

How many wefts did your friend use on the odangos?
+MK LAZY Lenora used two packs of the short wefts, she didn't use all of them so don't worry about running out.

About how big do you think the foam eggs/odango were that you used to make the pigtails?
Probably between 4 and 5 inches long, that size looked right on our heads, it all depends on the look you're going for.

What kind of hairspray did you use?
+Stephanie Mazariegos I have found the greatest success using Got2B Glued's Freeze Spray. It is literally glue for your hair and works wonders.
