The health mutiplayer is too high to make speed kills such as average 40% health increase per player. you need serious DPS and teamwork to make short work of a monster... even then
4 player health is base health x2.2, so "only" + 30% health / player. So basically it's not a problem of ratio health / damage. (cause 4 player = damage *4). The problem is that with 4 player, you increase the chance that the Kushala isn't in the "right" range of the bow, by taking the focus on another player, which results in a huuuuge loss of DPS.
Is BOW the DPS King?, i think HBG is better only for Party Groups because it's harder ( or impossible ) to hit weak spots with 4 Bows at same time ( move to right positions to shoot and avoid friend fire ), while you can shoot clusters without worry about that. Bows seems better in every point, DPS, mobility, resources, speed and etc 🤔.
Bow is a stat hungry weapon. Such as you need constituion 3, wide shots, normal shots,mighty bow, ele crit,weakness exploit, crit, crit booster and ele damage to make it work like it does But yeah in Mhworld bow is incredibly strong compared to his other generation where it was only good with heroics. Bow is basically dual blades but ranged. Need a tons of skills to be very effective.
Mario Racicot as good as it is, u don’t necessarily need constitution 3, he doesn’t use it in this vid and vs certain monster it can be better using something else, obviously u will 100% need dash juice though
Using dash juice for 100% of hunts will be extremely expensive. I mean sure, i would swap out consti 3 for dash juice +attack charm 3 but only on the most serious hunts. But having constitution 3 will allow you have be agressive without losing all of your stamina in one go (especialy when you play with around 3/10 of your stamina most of the hunt(could not do without consti 3)) as you said, dash juice is best BUT it is expensive Consti 3 is better for non serious hunts like non tempereds

Interesting use of the rocks. Probably slowed down the speed run but sure did keep the lockdown going. Also does anyone else hate hitting the tail with a non severing attack? It just feels bad even though its the weakspot
Mees Hilgersom Solo is easer and easy to K.O him and kill him Multiplayer is more difficult specially with stupid weapons Also you have a team of 4 and every one is playing alone .
It's slightly more difficult if you don't have a bunch of ultra perfect endgame DLC-only optimal gear that isn't out on PC yet. Or just slightly slower but about the same difficulty. Also depending on the player's luck, not possessing 3x Tenderizer Jewels or a Mighty Bow Jewel will certainly make the fight "harder". Just git better RNG! Just grind for 2K hours!
Kushala is certainly the most "Counterable" of the AT monsters, due to low stun resist, nullifiable aura, and lack of bulsh*t tail moves... Also, this monster is much better at crowd controlling than trying to flatten a single jumpy hunter... Still, Extros's bow play makes me waterblighted
He hits hard but he's just more annoying than difficult. I was able to do a run with 3 GS randos so it's okay. I had to switch to SnS though just to make sure those guys didn't die (only one of them thought of putting wind resistance)

Considering you can get crit element from rath set bonus from only 2 pieces an they have pretty good stats I would say normal shot gem is better. Also normal shot does not effect quick/power shot at all.
Piratederp Well. i guess then i go with head and leg piece from rath, dober chest piece, teo arms and nergi waist, normal shot up charm and an attack gem. ends up having attack boost7, Weakness exploit 3, normal shot up and crit element as the main damage source.

I have yet to try a bow build even after 300 hours on the PS4. Now that I have been playing the PC release I have crafted several bows and plan on putting some builds together this weekend ( one of the main reasons being to counter Kushalas annoying wind aoe). What would be the best bow and build to go with on the PC specifically for Kushala? Is a lighting elemental build optimal for Kushala given the gear available on the PC or perhaps something different?
Lightning crit-element bow build is what I use for taking down Kushala and it works well, though you probably won't be able to achieve times like this with the gear currently available on PC. Up until a month or so ago, I was using the Tobi-Kadachi bow but I switched now that I was blessed with a decent Kulve Taroth lightning bow. For bow builds, it's heavily skewed towards crit-element builds so you're going to want to get that from the Rathalos set bonus (or from the other monsters that give the set bonus). The Tobi-Kadachi bow is a good bow in general and will probably be your go-to lightning bow unless you get a good lightning element Kulve Taroth bow and a free element set. After the crit-element set bonus, you're going to want to aim for Weakness Exploit and Critical Boost but a lot of the good stuff for bow comes from decorations like spread shot, normal shots, and bow charge plus. Hell, after 550 hours I still don't have a normal shots decoration so it really all comes down to rng when farming for that stuff.

I have several builds and guides for crit element builds bookmarked, I was just curious given the gear we have access to, if a physical or dragon pierce build might yield better results than a lighting crit element build. I have all of the current armor on the PS4, so I am well aware there will be a drop off in overall stats. That being said, I have save scummed the shit out of the PC version and I have nearly every decoration I need ( no way I was going to go through the deco grind again). So many in fact I can't utilize most of them until the Tempered armor sets come out on pc.
I personally only have the PS4 version so I can only really speak for that aspect but imo a dragon piercer build is good but very hard to pull off right unless you're against very large monsters such as Kulve Taroth or Xenojiva. Pure physical builds can work but they're not as "meta" atm and they seem very situational (e.g. the current fastest Nergigante bow speedrun), though funnily enough dragon-piercer and physical builds often seem to overlap. Current bow meta seems to be crit-element as bows get the most out of crit-element when compared to other weapons. I usually just use crit-element builds copied from other people and I get decent times. Not speed-run-worthy times but that has a lot to do with my current skill level.

Because it has a non cosmetic drop, it's fair. And he doesn't have a very good armor set, i don't want to fight kushala with extreme behemoth tornado. On the other hand if bazel got an extreme version with good earplug armor i will farm him even if it means it will be like fighting apex brachy.
His tornados dont even come close to Behemoths. 3 Peaces of his Armor are pretty usefull, one is that good that Greatsword/Focus mains should have it, and the fight is pretty much a cakewalk with Kushalas setbonus. Just a few reasons to farm him... Also Guildcross armor is cool.

His set bonus that give wind resist is pretty much useless because the closest time i need wind resist is on behemoth fight. with him weak to lighting and low fire resist its useless (2 of behemoth Attack that actually matter)

It's a bullshit that I have to farm and make investigations and farm againg and again that actually playing the freaking game.I am level 14 hunter with 378 base defense and 238 damage on base Kadachi flying bow and still having trouble getting Nergigante and Deviljhoe solo,so yea.It's to tedious and grindi for my taste.I wonder what a kid think when play this game for the first time,because you have to be a grown ass man AND a Sherlock Holmes detective to learn all the bullshit that the game doesn't tell you.

You can still do 0 damage with bow in world but it's really only if you hit his body, all his weak points and wings can still be hit.

What's the differences between Arch-tempered and Tempered?, sorry I am noob to this game.
Arch-tempered is harder cuz it has more damage and more health points (i think)

They had affinity booster and weakness exploit giving them over 100% when hitting weak spots and 70% without the booster is still pretty high

His setbonus makes his fight easy, what it is supposed to do, but yes its a little lacking.
