I love my new caravans. I have the version with G15 glasses. The normal RB frames are of a good quality, but this frame feels indestructible.
Not lightweight but very comfortable and durable glasses.
This pair will last me a lifetime....
Both. I own both in the gold g15 variety and they have their places.
Do you know if I can put the New Caravan Lenses on the Old Caravan Frame? I broke one of my lenses but the replacement are just for the new one.
Hey Irving! While the specs are close, they are not the same lens size. Only original Caravan lenses will fit to the original Caravan frame.
What is the pattern on the temples of rayban new caravan glasses called?
The pattern is based on the shape of the temple rivets found on the top outer edges of the Iconic Wayfarer frame!
The New Caravan is my favorite Ray-Ban style! I have three of those New Caravan sunglasses!
Original just can’t be beat imo
One specific difference is that the new Caravan is noticeably heavier than the old one. Furthermore, the 58mm of the new version felt tighter on my face and the temples were pressing inwards. This is not the case with the old one. I am afraid it might cause some headaches on prolonged use for people with larger head sizes. Do consider these facts since people generally buy such evergreen sunglasses for continued usage.
Are you guys gonna do a Spy Happy Boost video?
@@sportrxeyewear Hey thanks for the reply! Spy actually came out with a new lens called Happy Boost just this month and I was hoping maybe they had sent you guys some review models. Pretty interesting new tech behind it!
These are not actually aviators, they are a style called Navigator, its basically a squared off aviator, they look similar but are not the same thing
They'd be great if they came in a smaller size
Here only 58 mm I want it in 62 how I get 62 in these they only make 58 mm size ☹️
58mm is the only size RayBan offers in the New Caravan at the moment. However, depending on their popularity, they may expand their size options for this frame in the future.
Do you know if the chromance is glass or plastic?
@@attilab.2818I have the Silver/blue chromance New Caravan and the lenses are made of Polycabonate a.k.a. plastic. I have another G15 Chromance Model thats made of glass so I noticed it from the get go from the sound it made.
The New Caravan is nice, I'll give you that, but the engravings give you no tactical advantage whatsoever. Unless you're planning to auction it off as a collector's item. 171, that pair of Caravans only costs 171, the New Caravan is 182. These are high class sunglasses, they're meant for impressing people.
And you’re forgetting one more very basic thing… you don’t have what it takes to buy these sunglasses.

I prefer the discreetness of the original Caravan.
Original frame, frosted lenses with straight temples.
These would be great frames if they were thicker. The frames are so thin and flimsy ya might as well buy a cheap pair of the same shape with the thicker frames. These companies are relying on the egos of people to wear the name not the style. 🤠
The old Ray Ban glasses that were made in the USA are the ones to go with. This new Italian company just don't get the American people.
OMG my ears, I've never heard so much vocal fry in one video, never again, torture. Also what does "suc-sass" mean? 'Success' maybe? and "frash"?, ah I get it I get it......'fresh' right?
Up to 2 mins. I've learned nothing and you're asking for likes and subscriptions. NO.
The original in gold with G15 lenses. A classic.
