Happy that you appreciate Hua and his music. I have been with him for 3 years (found him and Dimash at the same time) and have never been disappointed in any performance. Hua also makes music about topics that other artists won't touch (like BTS does). You say you don't know the magic that Hua uses to create and perform, it's because he writes what he feels in his heart, he rearranges music the same way he writes to please himself and isn't worried whether it is liked by fans or anyone else, all the music Hua produces is pure. He3 stated once that if his music becomes any other way then he would stop making music altogether, and I believe him whole heartedly. I was in a bad way for many years (deep depression) and Hua's trilogy he created about depression, how to fight it, how the mind of someone in it operates and the hope and relief when the darkness is lifted effects that someone. I was able to rid myself of my depression because of that trilogy after 21 years, I owe Hua my life and I shant ever forget what he has given back to me. Please give him more attention in your reactions, you won't ever be disappointed.

I have never listened to an artist who elicited such emotions from me as HuHua, I have gone from bouncing around the house, to being in uncontrollable floods of tears, just from the power of his performances, I don't understand it, but his voice speaks to my very soul. I feel he's underrated in the west, but that is mostly because the TV shows block a lot of content, check his live performances the aura this man has is stunning.

Thanks for doing this song dude although I cried most of the way through it. For most of my childhood and teen years I was told I was useless, stupid, a waste of space and ordinary. It took me a long long time to understand that there is nothing wrong with being ordinary and taking the ordinary path. The part where he holds the microphone aloft asking for his voice to be heard and the screaming when he realises that he has been lied to resonates hard with me. my cat Leila loved Huahua, she followed the songs with her tail, I have many videos of her dancing with her tail and watching him sing. When you expect rock, he can go operatic, When you think he is going operatic, he raps, etc. The most creative singer that I have ever seen, even more so than KZ Tandigan for female singers.

Hua Hua is one of those singers who go beyond a good voice, he is sweet, soft, energetic, strong, he transports you to another world where your skin bristles and your senses shudder...it is really wonderful. There is no song that does not leave something special inside your soul and your body. I would love for you to listen to Jam Hsiao, a face that you have seen in many Dimash, Hua Hua and Zhou Shen videos and who also has a very versatile and catchy voice.

For me, Hua Hua is an amalgamation of Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, Steven Tyler, Prince, George Michael and even Marc Bolan (long before your time) and recently Bruno Mars. I'd recommend one of his recent songs from his Mars 2021 Concerts. Maybe Flight Mode, Black and White Artist or Flower from a small town. Great Reaction. 👍
I hope you'll stay dedicated to going down his musical path - 3 songs is only a tiny drop in the depths of his work....part of me wishes I could experience it all new again with you, but I promise you will be deeply moved the further you go. *one tip - for the majority of his songs, there is almost always a version with subtitles on yt. I know some reactors don't want them, but he does have songs that need to have the lyrics to fully appreciate the magic in them.
I first discovered your channel through your BTS reactions, but i’m so glad you checked out huahua’s music!! He is one of my all time favorite artists. His music has helped me a lot just as BTS’s music has because he has a way with music that i believe truly relates to connects people from all across the world regardless if you understand the lyrics or not. Always love your reactions. Morissette brought me hear but I just LOVE Hua Chenyu. Please react to his cover of "Nanping Evening Bell" a duet with Su Shiding. He mentored her on a show called The Next and he had to rearrange this classic song from the 50's in 24 hrs and it is just mind blowing. Most of his performances you can get with Eng Subs. He is nothing more but amazing...I came to Hua Chen Yu through "ordinary path" after listening to it from Xnine with Xiao Zhan (after watching "The untamed"), Pu Shu who wrote it and then to Hua Chen Yu. Since then...he touched my heart and whatever burried emotions through so many songs. I don't know why he is not famous in the "Western world". Lyrics, voice range, stage performances, every song different and full of surprises...I don't know to whom I could compare him. He's like the Mount Everest...the lyrics of ordinary road...I recommand you to read them. They are beautiful. As well as "no fear in my heart" also from Pu Shu...you realize...this guy has a deep understanding of life and human nature.

Sweet Lord, I can't even put into words how much joy, the purest joy, it brings me to hear/see your wonder and amazement, your enthusiasm and appreciation of the little flower (his 'official' nickname is Hua Hua, 花花, which basically means "flower flower" or "flowers" [edited to add the plural, which might be more accurate but I'm not entirely sure] 😊🌸)!! I mean, SAME!!!! Sometimes it amazes me how many emotions can pour right out of you and also into you, I guess, when watching him perform. Sometimes I get watery eyes, just like that, and think: How is he even real? My introduction to him was "Fake Monk" by the way...oof... As much as I'd appreciate you reacting to basically all of his phenomenal "Singer 2018" performances ("Child" is probably a must though), I'd also love, love, love reactions to his newer songs and brand new songs. "Seven Personalities" is always exciting (I'm particularly partial to the New Year's Eve 2019/2020 performance of the song) or from the brand new songs "Flower in a Small Town", his concert performance from November last year. Hua Chen Yu is a unique talent in China as a sing/songwriter, with Jay Chou (Nunchucks is his original). His music, as you said, is quite esoteric and heavy, not everyone style, not a chill pill. He hardly ever does love songs. Here are some famous songs. This song is expressing how life humbles you, going full circle. Realizing humility. Hua Chenyu's childhood was filled with doubt, loneliness, abandonment, and sorrow. He tapped into this and so happened to be a musical prodigy. He is probably the most prolific musical artist in China today. So yes, he expresses so much emotion in each performance that he connects to your soul and touches you in profound ways. Igniting your own emotions.
I just got a Hua 3 CD collection set. I'm only listening to CD #1 as I don't want to go thru them all too quickly. And every song on this first CD is epic and moving! Usually an artist has 1 to 3 great songs, and the rest are OK or duds. But every single song on this CD is truly awesome. I do believe that Dimash and Hua come from another galaxy, their voices are not ordinary human voices. Very different, both out of this world incredible!! I have just discovered this guy and he is absolutely incredible. Only other vocalist so far that mixes so many genres and ranges in one song like Dimash does. I love him. He is mesmerising. As you say, so deeply emotional. But he doesn’t affect me like Dimash does yet I feel that he should. What is the difference. He is so like Dimash in many ways, I love listening to him. Finally getting a few more amazing vocalists that I can listen to besides Dimash, but again there is a BUT I have to go back and have a good “fix” of Dimash after. Why? I would really like to understand the difference. They both have amazing range, diversity, dynamics, stage presence, emotion. But Dimash, for me is still on another level for me. I am no vocalist, so is it technique, purity of pitch, I want to know what. This guy is definitely the next best I have seen so far 💕

Please listen to Hua's own songs, such as Madhouse, Giant Deer, Seven Personalities, Aliens, Flowers in a Small Town... there are so many and they are so diverse. Everything about him will surprise you. His life reads like a novel! He is the consummate artist and (although he hates the word), a true genius. The only Western artist he really reminds me of is David Bowie (although he doesn't create characters in the same way Bowie did) ...and that comparison doesn't cover Hua's amazing singing / performance skills. Hua is not a dancer but has near-perfect movement skills, like a great actor.

Please, please, please react to Zhou Shen Ring The Doorbell (singer 2020) you really wont be disappointed, it's a stunning performance that he pours his heart and soul into. I totally agree with everything you said about Hua Hua, you nailed it. This is just the beginning of a journey you wont want it to end. So far you have listened to covers so maybe something of his own like Qi Tian or I Don't Care or King and Beggar (MV). I like it because, as you have said, he often seems to sing from a place of pain. He sent his audience away happy. At 57 I have heard some fantastic artists over the years but there is something mesmerising about him s you say. Artist is the word as he's not simply a singer, he puts his whole being into each performance. In some ways he's a method actor which is why I wait for the point at the end of songs for him to break character. The look he gives at the end of this is piercing but his smile a few seconds later (not on this vid) is marvelous. Enjoy the journey.

The second he started to belt, a girl in the audience burst into tears. He just grabs you. He does have a lot of pain, as you said, and he uses it effectively. His heart is completely available when he sings. He's fearless about exposing himself. I want to recommend the same song I mentioned last time. BULLFIGHTING. Any version. Dimash is my number one but no one on earth can make me cry like Hua. Sadly, I do not think he does concerts outside of China which is a sad sad thing for the rest of the world.

When you expect rock, he can go operatic, When you think he is going operatic, he raps, etc. The most creative singer that I have ever seen, even more so than KZ Tandigan for female singers.

Hua Hua is one of those singers who go beyond a good voice, he is sweet, soft, energetic, strong, he transports you to another world where your skin bristles and your senses shudder...it is really wonderful. There is no song that does not leave something special inside your soul and your body. I would love for you to listen to Jam Hsiao, a face that you have seen in many Dimash, Hua Hua and Zhou Shen videos and who also has a very versatile and catchy voice.

For me, Hua Hua is an amalgamation of Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, Steven Tyler, Prince, George Michael and even Marc Bolan (long before your time) and recently Bruno Mars. I'd recommend one of his recent songs from his Mars 2021 Concerts. Maybe Flight Mode, Black and White Artist or Flower from a small town. Great Reaction. 👍

I first discovered your channel through your BTS reactions, but i’m so glad you checked out huahua’s music!! He is one of my all time favorite artists. His music has helped me a lot just as BTS’s music has because he has a way with music that i believe truly relates to connects people from all across the world regardless if you understand the lyrics or not. Always love your reactions. Morissette brought me hear but I just LOVE Hua Chenyu. Please react to his cover of "Nanping Evening Bell" a duet with Su Shiding. He mentored her on a show called The Next and he had to rearrange this classic song from the 50's in 24 hrs and it is just mind blowing. Most of his performances you can get with Eng Subs. He is nothing more but amazing...I came to Hua Chen Yu through "ordinary path" after listening to it from Xnine with Xiao Zhan (after watching "The untamed"), Pu Shu who wrote it and then to Hua Chen Yu. Since then...he touched my heart and whatever burried emotions through so many songs. I don't know why he is not famous in the "Western world". Lyrics, voice range, stage performances, every song different and full of surprises...I don't know to whom I could compare him. He's like the Mount Everest...the lyrics of ordinary road...I recommand you to read them. They are beautiful. As well as "no fear in my heart" also from Pu Shu...you realize...this guy has a deep understanding of life and human nature.

I mean, SAME!!!! Sometimes it amazes me how many emotions can pour right out of you and also into you, I guess, when watching him perform. Sometimes I get watery eyes, just like that, and think: How is he even real? My introduction to him was "Fake Monk" by the way...oof...
As much as I'd appreciate you reacting to basically all of his phenomenal "Singer 2018" performances ("Child" is probably a must though), I'd also love, love, love reactions to his newer songs and brand new songs. "Seven Personalities" is always exciting (I'm particularly partial to the New Year's Eve 2019/2020 performance of the song) or from the brand new songs "Flower in a Small Town", his concert performance from November last year. Hua Chen Yu is a unique talent in China as a sing/songwriter, with Jay Chou (Nunchucks is his original). His music, as you said, is quite esoteric and heavy, not everyone style, not a chill pill. He hardly ever does love songs. Here are some famous songs.

This song is expressing how life humbles you, going full circle. Realizing humility. Hua Chenyu's childhood was filled with doubt, loneliness, abandonment, and sorrow. He tapped into this and so happened to be a musical prodigy. He is probably the most prolific musical artist in China today. So yes, he expresses so much emotion in each performance that he connects to your soul and touches you in profound ways. Igniting your own emotions.

I just got a Hua 3 CD collection set. I'm only listening to CD #1 as I don't want to go thru them all too quickly. And every song on this first CD is epic and moving! Usually an artist has 1 to 3 great songs, and the rest are OK or duds. But every single song on this CD is truly awesome. I do believe that Dimash and Hua come from another galaxy, their voices are not ordinary human voices. Very different, both out of this world incredible!! I have just discovered this guy and he is absolutely incredible. Only other vocalist so far that mixes so many genres and ranges in one song like Dimash does. I love him. He is mesmerising. As you say, so deeply emotional. But he doesn’t affect me like Dimash does yet I feel that he should. What is the difference. He is so like Dimash in many ways, I love listening to him. Finally getting a few more amazing vocalists that I can listen to besides Dimash, but again there is a BUT I have to go back and have a good “fix” of Dimash after. Why? I would really like to understand the difference. They both have amazing range, diversity, dynamics, stage presence, emotion. But Dimash, for me is still on another level for me. I am no vocalist, so is it technique, purity of pitch, I want to know what. This guy is definitely the next best I have seen so far 💕

Please listen to Hua's own songs, such as Madhouse, Giant Deer, Seven Personalities, Aliens, Flowers in a Small Town... there are so many and they are so diverse. Everything about him will surprise you. His life reads like a novel! He is the consummate artist and (although he hates the word), a true genius. The only Western artist he really reminds me of is David Bowie (although he doesn't create characters in the same way Bowie did) ...and that comparison doesn't cover Hua's amazing singing / performance skills. Hua is not a dancer but has near-perfect movement skills, like a great actor.
My mom told me that this song has a deep meaning. When he was a child his parents broke up and he was with his dad. But his dad never really appreciated him. So he was really sad

I totally agree with everything you said about Hua Hua, you nailed it. This is just the beginning of a journey you wont want it to end. So far you have listened to covers so maybe something of his own like Qi Tian or I Don't Care or King and Beggar (MV). Alternatively you could do covers of songs you know to see what he does with them like Creep (Radohead) or his cover of Heaven (Tengri), arranged in 24hrs, which is sublime. if you need something uplifting and fun check out For Forever from the yu A channel (you can skip to the start of the song as he speaks beforehand but there's no trans). I like it because, as you have said, he often seems to sing from a place of pain. He sent his audience away happy. Many of his songs and reality show appearances have English subs on via the Hua Chenyu English Subs channel. I feel my day is incomplete without listening to at least one Hua Hua song. At 57 I have heard some fantastic artists over the years but there is something mesmerising about him s you say. Artist is the word as he's not simply a singer, he puts his whole being into each performance. In some ways he's a method actor which is why I wait for the point at the end of songs for him to break character. The look he gives at the end of this is piercing but his smile a few seconds later (not on this vid) is marvelous. Enjoy the journey.

I missed this when you put it up, but I have to admit, I was starting to wonder if Fake Monk scared you off. Just kidding. You're a bigger man than that. This is a magnificent song by the fabulous Pu Shu; we'll talk more about him on a later day. In the meantime HuaHua is his usual magical, magnetic self onstage. The second he started to belt, a girl in the audience burst into tears. He just grabs you. He does have a lot of pain, as you said, and he uses it effectively. His heart is completely available when he sings. He's fearless about exposing himself. I want to recommend the same song I mentioned last time. BULLFIGHTING. Any version.
