@shawnzyplays how about swapping Pink Rathian Coil (crit eye 2) for Azure Rathalos Coil (special boost 1, crit boost 1) so the build will be WEX. 3, Crit Boost 3, Crit Eye 2, and Special Boost 1 as a bonus
Yeah once you have thunder 5, you can use qol skills like focus or quick work or even more dmg like wex. No issues with that. Only your phial explosions will not benefit from wex but everything else (sword / axe attacks) can still crit!

You can start off with
coral pukei helm - lock on, wex 2
rathalos chest - wex 2
azure rathalos gloves - crit boost 2
pink rathian coil - crit eye 2
kulu boots - crit eye 2
that gives you crit boost 2, crit eye 4, wex 4.
This is without driftsmelt.

90% of the damage is from Ele 5 basically. Elemental attack is too strong
100% of the dmg is from my finger tho
now im confident that im just bad at this game lol
Don't feel bad. What u see isn't what happens all the time. Sometimes I fail more than 10 times before I clear the hunt(and post in yt)

I try to defeat the monsters breaking as much parts as possible. But it seems that is very hard to break 3 parts without the skill part breaker.

Is wex important for zinogre charge blade? I currently have tzi tzi head and tobi waist and torso for thunder 5.

Actually AED and SAED can't deal crit damage, but other normal attacks can do so why not taking 40% Chance to deal ×1.25 damage/ hit
