Vander protected everyone but didnt defend the underworld properly he let too many evildoers run rampant just so the people he cared about werent in danger. Silco defended the underworld even if it cost ton of lives but didnt realize why vander protected everything so desperatly until he was offered all of what he wanted in exchange for jinx and couldnt do it. Ambessa was different. she was so scared of the known enemy she didnt realize she was siding with someone who would destroy the world. she broke her principles. in noxus magic is looked down upon because you are supposed to gain power through merit and hard work and anything that makes you powerfull in any other way is blasphemy and she sided with the machine god dude for power and paid the price.
The co creators basically confirmed jayce and viktor died. Im confused about heimerdinger, hes a yordle but he did die in an alternate timeline. Not sure how that works

I think most people didn't understand the scene at the beginning between ekko and jinx, especially the fact that she thought from beginning to end that she was talking to a hallucination which explains her behavior, yet the silco scene from ep 8 should have given you the clue to understanding

I would have liked a post-credit scene with a camera shot panning over Noxus while slowly zooming into the Immortal Bastion and slowly encroaching into Swain's back in the balcony overseeing everything.
That could have served as a sequel hook, but the truth is Arcane is done with this storyline. If we get more series in the future, it will be about other champions.

To be honest, I hated how they portrayed Viktor as a villain and the final boss and greater evil that needs to be defeated by everyone and even connecting Piltover and Zaun, which is exactly what Viktor always wanted from the start, and speed running his development just so he could be somewhat like his League counterpart who isn't even a villain and just someone who helps people with their permission smh. At least they made him regret his decision, revealed that the mage who saved Jayce and his mom was Viktor and that he went back in time multiple times to try and avoid the dystopian future and had him save the world with Jayce by destroying the anomaly. I wish they just went with his League of Legends version and had him heal people with his inventions in Zaun instead of having him heal people with his new Arcane abilities and creating a hive mind community where he can make a peaceful, warless and painless reality come true and basically turning into a god at the end. I really miss the season 1 versions of every character so much and I don't get why the writers decided to screw them all up this badly in season 2, even the conflict and themes feel completely different and not in a good way at all. It's such a shame since season 1 was genuinely amazing and season 2 could have been too, if not even better.
Viktor was a villain, he was removing people's humanity by lying to them and tricking them into a hivemind where he has complete control over them. He told them he would "heal" them, but it was only physically and at the cost of their individuality. The road to Hell is paved by good intentions, and Viktor is the posterboy for that.
