Hey, that was me at the Yoho store! You can actually see me in the bottom left of the video for a whole second at 39:29! What a blast to see you all come through Solsberry. For a brief moment I considered giving chase but as I was in shorts and a Tshirt with no riding gear, I figured that probably wasn't the brightest idea. Mike, I'll definitely be up to see you some Saturday but which one, remains unknown at this point.
🛑🛑 Mike…Congratulations on a Great Event!👍 It looks like everyone had a really good time. I was looking forward to seeing the Trestle Bridge, but there was no footage of that area. 🤷♂️ Great Success….as your Ride was a Great Success; as your Channel is a Great Success!!💯👍
My personal best so far on a minibike is 422 miles on a 1976 Z50 with a 212 Daytona and yes it took time to stand up straight after I got home again. :)
You’re correct, the Janus was a badass bike. Chad, the owner, is also pretty badass. He lives around 40 miles from my shop. He rode the bike 40 miles to the bike night, then 40 miles back home. He rode 40 miles to the shop on Saturday, rode 105 miles on the ride and then rode 40 miles home. He put some serious miles on for the weekend. His wife was riding a CT125 and she rode the 80 miles back / forth on Saturday, plus the 105 of the ride. Wow!
@@MiniBikeMike that's awesome! I found out about them through a friend and then saw their interview on the LiveOn2Wheels channel. They have a great story, I even bought Richard's book!
Hey there Mike. Really appreciated your commentary at the end of the video. Nice to hear you summed the ride up as enjoyable, in-spite of the stressful things mentioned, the responsibility you sense, and the care you have for the safety of all involved. Perhaps in future group rides, at the pre-ride briefing, you might address the things you’ve learned from the two of these outings so far. Especially the need for consideration of the varying riding and experience level of the participants. Hope your feel up to continuing planning these and would like to be ready to respond to an invitation this coming fall. Well done Warner family!!!
Hey Mike I just rode down from Mooresville to see what was going on on my Xt225 not planning to ride but when I got there everybody was having so much fun I decided to follow along and I’m glad I did had a great time thanks a lot hope to see you in the fall
It looks like a good time was had by all. Although I'm too far away to make one of your rides, I still want to thank you and your wife for putting on these rides for those who can make it. Great job, Mike!
So fun to see the guys again we met last fall at the first ride! AND to meet new riders! It’s always amazing to watch how much everyone interacts! Thx for a fun weekend!
You did a great job putting this together Mike. Also great support from Momma Warner and your son Brock! 👏🏼 As you mentioned is not easy coordinating a big group, but I’m glad it turned out great! I’m sure all the guys that made the trip enjoyed it very much. Loved the slow motion celebration at the end! 👍🏾 haha 🤣
I just dragged home an Icebear Champion this week. I live not too far from where you are located too. I'd love to join you on a ride in the future. I'm 40 and trying to recapture my youth. Have a few adventures while I still can. Little bikes are way more fun.
So cool to see that many Mini's on the road at one time, I have to build a Honda trail it's time. Reminds me of Wheelie and the Chopper bunch I have to go find those cartoon's now I grew up on Wheelie
Back in 1972 my buddy bought a brand new sl70 to race. The dealer put a Honda 65 cam and carb on it and wow it really opened it up to go. Thought you would be interested.
Great turn out buddy, sure do wish I could of made it. Hopefully next time. Momma Warner’s food look so nice too. Can’t wait for a tour around your shop too
@@MiniBikeMikehow about splitting into a Scenic group, and a Spirited group? Keep lunch line shorter and impact on gas stations down. Complicates chase vehicle...... Etc. I'm happy to help.
@@MiniBikeMikeI was glad to see someone like ‘pellingt’ offering to assist and was thinking that during my watching of this one, what an advantage that could add to the success of a ride, as an addition to your good planning. Obviously it needs to be someone you have confidence in and a comfort level with.
@@pellingt I’m not sure what the right answer is, but I don’t think I’m a fan of having two groups. Just sounds like it doubles the stress level. If I host another ride, I’ll put more thought into it then.
Hope ya have another yet this year. will have to load up and head down from up north here. It is a lot of fun riding these little guys. Put the big bikes behind us a few years back. This is much more laid back too. :)
I’ve used 10 of them on builds so far. My opinion…..the 22mm is the best for 125cc. Every single one has worked great, straight out of the box. I’ve tried 2 or 3 of the 24mm and on each one, I had to change jets and move the needle position, to get it to even run halfway correctly. They still didn’t perform as well as the 22 out of the box.
